Subject: »Oil catastrophy in Mexican Gulf

Smurf [del] to All
What is happening there? Everything is a mess... There happens nothing... BP is thinking about burning the gathered oil but the source is still leaking. In Meanwhile Obama is just 'mad' and is pointing a little finger while he wants to approve new sources in the Gulf. In the meantime nobody seems to care.
What is happening with all of us. Where are we going. Very sad games about politics and money with deep consequences for mankind...

its 2 miles underwater.. best of luck doing anything abuot it...

and yes they are doing somethign

the collection tube they have down at the moment is collecting 10,000 gallons per second of the leak... there is still the problem of the actual leak though.. and i dont know what they are doing, or going to do abuot it..

Wasn't it better to think of that before? Investigations show that BP did nothing to prevent the catastrophy and all the precautions for such a disaster weren't working. They used old equipment just to maximise profit. If you can get oil kilometers below the surface I'm expecting you can solve this too.

I barely see a difference and it is confirmed by scientists. I don't know what they are doing, but it's clearly not enough.

i think their main aim at the moment is to find a way to seeprate the oil from the surface of the sea so they dont waste any :P
its the way companies like them think

I think their aim at the moment is to prepare the debates in the court and to slow down everything so nobody wouldn't care at all anymore.

Considering the fact that there are americans solving the problem:

the most irritating thing about is the way BP is solving this, all they care is about their company and profit. i sure hope BP is going to be shut down and people responsible for this will be punished.

Here´s another one:
“BP wants Twitter to shut down a fake BP account that is mocking the oil company. In response, Twitter wants BP to shut down the oil leak that’s ruining the ocean.”

but yeah, the problem is pretty catastrophic there for local area, so its not a laughing matter.

Obama is making himself ridiculous that's for sure...
Stupid man always talking about the love for the country, the importance of the family and youth and the need to switch to greener energy. If he can do something about and he can make his words really true the only thing he can do is think about money and power. Hypocrite.

lol

Guys, BP will pay to clean the mess and it will cost them much more then to solve it now.
Therefore I guess they are doing its best.

you can't pay everything with money. The loss and damage to nature isn't payable...

were talking about a company, all they care is about money.
I am only pointing the fact that the separation of the oil from land and water will be an expansive task that will cost much more then fixing it now. If they dont do it I guess it means they cant.

Of course there is a chance that BP will declare bankruptcy or they will only deal with the tort litigation on USA soil.

I dont understand why wont they dig another hole that is controllable, so that it depressurizes the current one. Seems kinda easy and logical to me.
2010-06-10 17:33:33
that is their plan. Those other wells are going to be operational in august.

i already shouted a few times when i saw messages about how BP struggles and lies everytime
