The Spanish Carlos Barredo (Quick Step) and Portugal's Rui Costa (Caisse D'Epargne) were fined by the commissioners of the Tour with 200 Swiss francs (149 euros) per star in a fight at the finish of the stage.

nice to see things really kicking off now, although i got confused with how the people who were falling off the back halfwayish like the sprinters formed a grupetto behind the peloton, then Armstrong fell from the peloton but then the grupetto become the peloton and the group formerly known as the peloton became the chase group and ended with about 10 riders, it makes my head hurt :)

shame wiggins couldnt hang on to the lead group for the last 3k :(

I haven't seen that much of the Tour till now, but I can focus more on that event from now on ... :S

Cycling is so much more beautifull now doping is out of the peleton.

Sure! It was there for the last decades. Why should it be away now?

You don't see the difference? I'm not saying there isn't one rider who uses doping, but i'm sure there is no organised use of doping in teams anymore.

I could give you a thousand examples, but that would be a waste of time.
