Its probably his last tour too, so i really pity the fool who boo´s Lance.

Fantastic! Van den Broeck attacks at the first montain! Haven't seen in the past years a top favourite attacking that early! No matter what's gonna happen, that's courageous and great cycling!
2010-07-20 12:28:26
... and he's caught again. Strange attempt.
2010-07-20 12:31:04
Bit too late, should have attacked one km earlier to be able to close the gap before the summit. But I still like to see favourites attacking and not just sitting back and try to defend their current position.
2010-07-20 12:36:57
To be honest I don't expect too much excitement today.
2010-07-20 12:39:54
Yep.
Will be intersting to see what happens when the peloton catches the group. Hope they keep on attacking ;-)
Fantastic that other people see Vdb as a top favourite. I hope Sanchez has his bad day today, and won't be able to follow the group of Vdb.
He's a candidate for the top 5, but no candidate for the yellow jersey ofcourse...
Well, he obviously improved very well in the last couple of years. I see him much better in TTs than Sanchez, but he needs to win some time to be able to catch Menchov.
And in the past years the favourites usually tried to defend their place and that's why he has all respect that he's not trying to defend place 5 but trying to attack the podium! Hope he'll do it ;-)
2010-07-20 14:37:46
His principal aim was top 10 and he's doing all he can to secure his top 10. He isn't attacking the podium, at least I don't think so. In every single one of his interviews he keeps on saying he isn't looking forward to Sanchez/Menchov, instead he's looking back to defend his top 10.
2010-07-20 14:48:23
Then it would have been plain stupidity to attack and my respect would change to headshaking ;-)
2010-07-20 14:58:15
Of course his goal is to be in top ten, but in his head, I think he wants to be at least 5th. But it would be stupid to say so.

Nice french victory again today :D Three in a row ^^
2010-07-20 17:25:50
The first two hours were really interesting, but then everything got boring :-(
2010-07-20 17:28:13
Pff, why the hell did they finish in Gap ( I know, it's for the money ), but why didn't they stop at the Aubisque? This is ruining the TdF...
2010-07-20 17:29:25
these escapees would not expect to Andy schelck? xDDD

many victories for the French ^^

to see when it comes out a French champion :P
