I do think Spain was the right winner although I don't like how they let thereselfs fall so easily + The are also champions in asking for cards etc, its a pity Spain doesnt need that as the have a wonderfull squad . I hope in the future refs takes harder action to schwalbes and asking for cards .

Bad final, bad play and bad referee. Billions of people dissapionted. Should have given more 3 red cards, didn't happen. And back to life.

You have to understand. In '74 and '78, they played nice, but lost. Now, they just wanted to win, no matter how, they just had to win, even if it was unfair, or by an error of the referee ... De Jong and van Bommel however should be embarrased.

Of course I understand that they wanted to win by any means, but it's just undefendable :)

You need 2 seperate to things :) I fully agree the Dutch played an hard game and Webb had to pull atleast 6 red cards ( including 2x yelow) 4 for the dutch and 2 for the Spain . Obviously Webb didnt do that he let the game out of control . But in general I am sick of al the schwalbes and asking for cards - actions . I hate the way football is turning to , sometimes it seems its a game "who is best in playing the ref . Unfortunaley we also have some of that players but Spain has them too, as many other teams . Its a pity you directly feel insulted for what I say because thats not nessecary . You fully deserved to win agree , But if I have to be embarresed you should atleast question the behaviour of some of your players ( So do I with some dutch schwalbesmeisters as Robben etc ) Just hate that kind of playing. .

Of course such play is undefendable, no doubt about that. But it's understandable ;-)

Like the swalbe and Heitinga' second yellow card. Robben also should have fallen down when he had the chance, but unfortunatly he didn't. But yes, it's understandable ...

funny a team with Van Bommel in its ranks is the first to complain about schwalbes. He brilliantly ended first in:
- the most annoying player
- the dirtiest player
- the player with most fouls and least bookings ratio
- the big comedian
