How he can celebrate wc after so ugly divings? In the WC finals?? I would feel really bad if I would been cheated whole world like him. So ugly. I just don't get it why they don't give harder penalties for divings. They don't belong in football.

Don`t know if mentioned here or not, but Forlan was the chosen the best player of the tournament. Best choice.

Nonsense. Iniesta should have recieved red for his retaliation against van Bommel. Xavi was demanding cards and kicking the ball away during last minutes. Holland wasn't fair for sure but Spain neither!!!

This is what you said, and I said that Iniesta didn't deserve a red card for that action, it wasn't violent, although for reacting(even when it's understandable when they are beating the shit out of you) he should have received a yellow 1. Then I add that being Van Bommel booked he should have been sent off, in that same play, for the foul. Then, as another side note I stated something like not even mention Karate Kid De Jong.

Then I'll never understand that thinking way that puts dangerously violent tackles to the same level of wasting time, complaining with the ref, diving, or handballing. To me it's too much!!!! It does not fit in my mind how can people can compare 1 thing to the other.

Well, the more I see this foul the more I'm sure it's absolutely no red card, that was a good call of the ref. De Jong is in line with the ball, but he's to late. Of course it's a stupid and dangerous move, specially in the finals. But I'm sure he was trying to kick the ball and not the player.

Intention does not count in fouling, only in handballing. In a tackle, if De Jong's kick can be called "tackle", that deserves a red card the player should receive it, even if it wasn't intentional.

Anyhow, Spain won the World Cup and the applause for them, although a fan of Germany

Refs shoud be conseqent ( I'm now speaking in general ) if you make a dive or kick the ball away you should get a yello card if you do the same 5 minutes later you should get a second yellow card . Thats why I can't wait till the video camera is introduced , all the divers will fail so hard

Yeah, then violent players even more. I have see many refs, european(non latin), through out the years I've been watching football, that, in the same match, can yellow card and sent off some1 for wasting time, diving, or continue a play when an offside was already called, I mean they can be really severe with that, but they easily can tolerate tackles to the knee, tibia, or from behind to the aquiles tendon with the sole of the foot, which in the rules means, most of the time an automatic red card, and if not, at least yellow. Those type of refs does not seem consequent at all.

Its hard for a ref to decide in a split second what he has to do ! Thats why we need video camera , so al games will be a lot fairer for everyone I think everybody agress with that . Could you imagine a game without disgusting tackles , dives/schwalbes and so on . That would be great !
