Spain had a lot of success in sports in the last couple of years. So it's no surprise for me that there can be "one special month".
Spain is better in sports than they should be if you use some soft factors as number of inhabitants. There are also some other sports as basketball, handball, field hockey, golf and likely some others I don't know where they are at the top of the world.

I'm not saying Contador is using dope, but it is well known that southern countries ( like Spain and Italy ) have serious problems with this matter.

On Sky Sports News, it is said that one Spanish rider has just been given a 2-year ban for failing a dope test.
