True, many people have no idea what they're talking about. Islam is as peaceful as Christianity, though there were and are some idiots who understand the Saint Books in wrong way - Islamic terrorists now, Christian Crusades and anti-Islamic fights in Spain some time ago...

Yes, but these people were not fanatics overwhelemed with the zeal of killing and destroying.

Religions are pro-peace and were created by such people. Still there are some, not many, people who misunderstood, on purpose or unwillingly, the main ideas of these religions.

The whole problem is self-interpretation. And that will never change. So only 1 thing will solve the religious problems ... ban religions :) It will always be misused, everyone knows they can count on that. All because people believe in something, no facts. Kinda useless deads ....

Still, it's wrong to blame the religion in first place.

If you would be one of the few that don't need it, then you would also be humble enough to respect that most people do.

I respect the choice but i dont agree and i dont respect the fanatism that create but thats another conversation in another topic...

I wasn't trying to convert you, just gave my personal opinion about religion/believe. Religion is ok btw, searching for the meaning of life and personal goals to give your life meaning. But the moment people start to believe things over facts, then the problems starts ;) So if religion was based on facts and not self-interpretation then religion would be ok :) But unfortunately it isn't, even people with the 'same' religion are killing each other because the other is wrong ... yeh right:P

Bin Laden was clearly a terrorist though and all members of Al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups of the same ilk all claim to be doing it in the name of islam. I know all muslims arent terrorists and they're normal people that just believe in something, but you cant blame the uninformed for believing otherwise. I mean i'm seeing muslims come out on FB and defending bin laden, calling him a hero ffs.

Islam has a massive problem with fundamentalists that want to kill others for being different on a much bigger scale than other religions have.

i want say only this peoples not real muslim like laden.he use peoples for their own purposes and said i did for islam.this just madness.
