As someone who lives in London, I can tell you I've heard nothing about this. Then again I don't buy into the fearmongering bullcrap of The Daily Mail.

Yeah I smiled at that too. They're not referred to as The Daily Fail for no reason. It really is the most monumentally stupid, fear mongering, racist, old fashioned piece of crap paper you'd ever read but they're good for a laugh sometimes.

Oh and regarding the cheering Americans. According to TDM, the US are now upset with Europe because we didn't do the same thing.

btw. we have a nice one in Poland, called fact. Their main story once was, I quote, "I can't sleep because I have to keep the wardrobe standing!". Seriously, they devoted 2 pages to some guy's story that he has to stand near his wardrobe and support it because when a train goes nearby the wardrobe is going down.

Once they wrote a story of a guy who claimed that UFO promised to give him money if he quits smoking, and when he did the UFO didn't show up. Or about a guy who believes that "A frog told me to stop drinking". Quality stuff.
