Kick-Ass Review
"We are no longer accepting comments on this article." because we were getting absolutely decimated by criticism. Seriously, the guy who wrote that article used his article in the next week to complain he was the victim of a organised internet hate campaign. You see, TDM also hate the internet as the only people who use it as paedophiles, criminals and thug kids. I'm not making any of this up :)

So were the US special forces protesting when they gave OBL what by all accounts seems like an unusually respectful muslim funeral? Protesting and praying are in no way the same thing.
Underage sex isn't a laugh. Recent government figures revealed that in this country more than 8,000 children under the age of 16 conceive every year.
My God. Seriously, if that was his impression of that movie - then mr. Freud would have something to say about it.

lol, not saying i dont agree with you. Me grandad buys DM, i only bother to find the puzzle pages in there, which are actually probably the best you'll find in a paper. But yeah, stories are basic and read like they've been written by 15 yr olds. On a maybe slightly related note, a lad who left my school a year before me's just got a job there. Think its sports though.
No but they're two entirely different things like i said. You protest and then pray like you can have a sandwich and then a cup of tea. Eating and drinking arent the same thing, doesnt mean you cant do them after each other...
http://www.muslimsagainstcrusades.com/ and if you look at their website is says demonstration + prayer.
Think you owe a certain newspaper an apology...
Think you owe a certain newspaper an apology...
Just putting aside the fact that demonstrations are entirely legal and if this one wasn't it wouldn't be happening, it's not difficult to find the worst people in any situation. I seem to remember a massive peaceful protest last year about university fee's where 99% of people were peaceful but it was a small minority that decided to cause trouble. It's easy to tar everyone with the same brush if you put in a little effort. For example I could say anyone protesting the protests are infact just as bad and are troublemakers looking for a fight, whatsmore, I'm sure I could find evidence of that online as well.
there was a reason this 7 previous groups this bunch of people had were banned under terrorist legislation...
But hey, if you think calling for an uprising against the queen, shouting abuse to troops, wishing death upon non-muslims, supporting terrorism and having links to people that have committed terrorist acts including 7/7 is acceptable, i guess thats your right.
And this is demonstration is probably not legal because the US embassy knows nothing about it therefore the police probably know nothing about it making it illegal. This group doesnt hold British (man made) law in any regard whatsoever, so why would they follow it? They never have done before and refuse to cooperate with police every time they make attempts to accomodate their protests.

Some people bellieve that words alone will save those in need
In my case, I don't think words can save those in need. I also don't think the USA's army can save those in need either.
I for one am glad the allies didn't think like that during WWII
I don't see the connection. Allies during WWII fought their own war. They, or some of them, were attacked, and fighting back was the obvious thing to do. That's what armies are for: fighting wars when you happen to get one.
Chasing criminals or "solving those problems over there" are not really army tasks, and, at best, they are poorly performed by armies.
Of course, none of this would need to be explained if we were talking about, say, Chad performing "smart-bomb attacks" to avoid human rights violations in Guantanamo, or Cambodia bombing South Africa to stop appartheid. But it all changes when colonial powers get all paternalistic and ask themselves "what should we do about them?" Because, we're the adults, you know. We have to make sure the kids play nice to each other.

So you're saying the US embassy and the police know nothing about it, but you do? :)
Well they obviously know about it, but the police havent been informed officially to make it a legal demonstration.

Oh come on! You think that after this week they're just going to completely ignore this gathering, especially with the EDL morons potentially joining in? Ridiculous
who said anything about ignoring it? Im just telling you you're talking bollocks. They wont have informed the police like usual, they'll refuse to cooperate or liase with police as usual making it much harder for the police to do anything. EDL always cooperate with police and liase with them and we've told the police where we'll be and when tomorrow.
You have no idea what you're talking about. No surprise if you're with the EDL retards

Kosovo rings a bell?
I don't see the connection.
You should. There was no specific need for anyone to invade the continent. The Germans would have been most happy to sign a peace treaty.
Chasing criminals or "solving those problems over there" are not really army tasks, and, at best, they are poorly performed by armies.
On the contrary. The best trained units in most modern armies are specifically trained to take care of criminals. Whether it's the navy cracking down on piracy or eliminating Very Bad Guys (tm), the armed forces are the people trained for the job.
