Don't understand a letter of that greek =p

As we look at the situation we see the greeks strike..
That is really going to help.

The EU helps and that's the reward? We are in the same shit, if your country fails it'll be disastrous. So instead of that useless striking(okay you are allowed to strike once in the month ;)) you'd better do as you're told and get back to work.
The sooner the greeks and the EU sweat this out the better.

The greeks voted for their leaders so bear the consequences of the votings.

And even more: start paying taxes correctly: only for 150 of more then 3000 (i don't know the exact numbers so it's relative) swimming pools taxes were paid.
I know that we share a common sport 'avoid taxes' but when you are in a crisis everyone should pay.

Headhunterz +1

Its big conversation about the leaders and the elections but if the propaganda tells everything is good "keep voting us, we have money some they believe that but the election low gives 50 senetors bonus to the first party and of course the 60% absent of the voting its not calculating...
Of course people have a part of responsibility of the situation and we want to change every bad think of the past and to create something better, but we dont want o lose our dignity and our national sovereignty...

Nigel Farage is great at those meetings. Shows how pathetic most politicans are as well that he was getting jeered for telling the facts and speaking the truth.
Being in the union IS losing some of your national sovereignty. I think it's very normal that the EU want to have their say now. Look, the Greek politicians - who are representatives of the Greek people - have messed up. We have given loans, but the privatization doesn't go quick enough. That's why we want to intervene, so that the Greek state will become healthy, and will be able to pay their repayments of the loans the other European countries have given. And yes, all the Greeks will feel that, there is no other way. In a democracy, the people are responsible for what their elected representatives do.
I know better than you the meaning of the word democracy...

Enlighten me.
the people are responsible for what their elected representatives do.

this resposnability is low, how much of their program the politics do after election? how many of the decissions werent on the politic pre election program because the situation is different?

big decissions usual arent taken by referendum but the party that won last election even it wasnt on any politic program - old situation -
Democracy is a form of government in which all citizens have an equal say in the decisions that affect their lives. Ideally, this includes equal (and more or less direct) participation in the proposal, development and passage of legislation into law. It can also encompass social, economic and cultural conditions that enable the free and equal practice of political self-determination. The term comes from the Greek: δημοκρατία – (dēmokratía) "rule of the people",[1] which was coined from δῆμος (dêmos) "people" and κράτος (Kratos) "power", in the middle of the 5th-4th century BC to denote the political systems then existing in some Greek city-states, notably Athens following a popular uprising in 508 BC

If you want a bank and a DEBTOCRACY instead of Demokracy its yours decision...

You can punish the politicians by voting for another party next time.

And in Belgium, national referendums are forbidden.

Okay. So? I said in a democracy, the people are responsible for their representatives. That is not a definition of democracy, it's an characteristic of democracy. So tell me, why is that characteristic wrong, and not compatible with the definition you gave?
i know you can punish them voting other, but problem is usually two party system the othr party is the same, i belive in referendums for big issues
ok and the gamplers of the market are responsible for theirs losses...
the big interest doesnt mean easy money but and causaulties some times when the risk dont succeeds...
...thats free markets rules what is the problem...?
