ok and the gamplers of the market are responsible for theirs losses...
the big interest doesnt mean easy money but and causaulties some times when the risk dont succeeds...
...thats free markets rules what is the problem...?
Sorry, I don't understand it.
i know you can punish them voting other, but problem is usually two party system the othr party is the same

You have only 2 big parties? There are little ones, no? Here, we have 7 Flemish and 5 Francophone parties that are in parliament.

Edit: and I do believe in referendums too, it's only forbidden because referendums point out the differences between the two large communities (Flemish and Francophone), for instance if the king was allowed to come back after WW II.
(edited)
yeah only two bigs, many little ones but without possibility of governirng neither in coalition without chanching election law

also here some referendums hard because near history
Why do you have representatives if you want your own say? It gives huge legitimization problems.

Soit, the greeks and the EU are in the same shit (as I said). The european countries and banks have a big amount of greek paper. A greek failure would mean a new financial crisis (we now have a crisis with nations)

So we'll have to sweat this out. The most ill ones have to sweat more, clearly. But you're not alone. The EU has to overcome this and you're not helping.
You are mistaken in your assertion that democracy implies responsability. It does not. Citizenship, however, does. It doesn't matter which government or what type of government rules, in terms of financial matters, all citizens can be held to account.

@ all Greek people in here: all you have to do get rid of the problem is moving to another state. (Although that may create other problems as your new state may have its own troubles.)
It doesn't matter which government or what type of government rules, in terms of financial matters, all citizens can be held to account.

So under a military junta, citizens are still responsible?

And you are correct that democracy doesn't directly implies responsability, but I see citizenship as a 'normal thing', as given, although I do realise that is not always the case.
So under a military junta, citizens are still responsible?

In financial matters, yes. Russia after 1993 is a great example. Criminal matters are a completely different story.

The EU will take over a chunk of the Greek debt in such a way that it will look like a loan. In return, Greece will stomach a few political things like the name of Macedon.

Democracy is a form of government in which all citizens have an equal say in the decisions that affect their lives. Ideally, this includes equal (and more or less direct) participation in the proposal, development and passage of legislation into law. It can also encompass social, economic and cultural conditions that enable the free and equal practice of political self-determination. The term comes from the Greek: δημοκρατία – (dēmokratía) "rule of the people",[1] which was coined from δῆμος (dêmos) "people" and κράτος (Kratos) "power", in the middle of the 5th-4th century BC to denote the political systems then existing in some Greek city-states, notably Athens following a popular uprising in 508 BC

I'm not sure whether copying a definition from Wikipedia is knowing the meaning of a word better :p

I agree with you Jimceasar...banks and investors should suffer their losses themselves and not always the common people
