If europeans must tell you all the american states I think 50% would be able to name 50% of the states.
I think you overestimate the mediocre European... or for this sake: the mediocre Belgian guy. I would be sincerely surprised if 50% of them could correctly locate New York, Los Angeles and Chicago on the map. Most can't. At most, they will know that New York is somewhere along the east coast and Los Angeles somewhere along the west coast. Where exactly? Who knows? Who cares? Locating Chicago is just completely impossible for 95%.
Naming the states is even a lot more difficult... 90% wouldn't be able to name more than five. Of course we would recognize most names when there are being told to us, thanks to Hollywood movies and song lyrics, but knowing them by head is something most people aren't capable of.
I was so sad about my own geopgraphical knowledge of North America that I started learning by head all US states + capitals and Canadian provinves + capitals. I've learned them a couple of times now, and I keep on forgetting them... Of course I recognize the names.
Geographical knowledge of Americans may not be perfect, but I think Europeans wouldn't score better on naming US states or capitals.

Is a democratically elected republic close to a free market? yes, it is a free market of ideas, and these ideas elect the politicians who enact laws. So people who are against, as you say "leftist ideas" have done a good job of selling their ideas in the free market of a republican government.
However if the "leftist laws" go too far, then capital is driven from one country to another. so both sides need to find a balance- liberal enough so that no one lives in poverty, but conservative enough to maintain capital in that country's market.

Intentions written there were then followed through by Serbian government led by Milošević.
In these years Milosevic was not a leader of Serbian government.That is a fact,just read wiki.

I'm not denying it - I don't know enough about Yugoslav War to write my own opinion - but you have to understand that foreigners (non-former-Yugoslavs) will not believe the most of the time one sided view on the war by all parties involved, Muslims, Croats, Serbs, ... I hope you are not offended, I try to be as neutral as one can be.
