last week italians refused the possibility to build nuclear power plant in our territory.
54% of italians voted,94% of the votes were against nuclear!

Of course, the people who are against nuclear power are more determined to go voting I believe. And the result is quite predictable after a disaster like Fukushima, which would never happen in Italy.

I understand you don't want it near your home, but come on, you can do better than a three-eyed fish.

it's a way of saying that i don't want nuclear and all the effect that it produces.have you got some problem with that ?

and anyway all the rest of italy except sardinia is highly sismic.aquila earthquake is a proof of that.a tsunami destroyed messina in 1911 if i remember well.so if that law passed berlusconi(only god knows what the ... has in mind) probably would have the brilliant idea of construct nuclear plant in other parts of italy (he can't build 20 nuclear plants in sardinia because there is no so much place) if he wanted to expand nuclear plants to a sensible level.and that would have been a disaster.

you can do better than a three-eyed fish.

I actually read about rabbits without ears near Fukushima. Even though, I'd go more for closing thermal centrals (specially coal, it contaminates a lot!) and then nuclears...

they contaminates a lot but there are not radiation in the zone at least

In the area around a modern nuclear power plant either.

I live at 18-19km from a nuclear plant. I still do have 2 eyes, 1 nose, etc

maybe my third ear is a curiosity but hey I do watch tv with the cause of that ;)
