The right to strike was denied on the basis they had voted for the wrong politicians.

No it wasn't, at least not by me. I said 1) if they use violence, the police can and should arrest them and 2) they shouldn't strike, I didn't say they can't.

Of course, Greece will have to pay its debts, or at least try to do so. It is however utterly wrong to blame the Greek electorate for what corrupt politicians did.

I don't blame them, I just say they'll have to pay.

Unless I am mistaken, you stated yourself that the cuts are unfair.

In this case you are mistaken.

In this case you are mistaken.

Of course flat tax is not the solution for Greece, but I just wanted to point that out as you said the strongest shoulders etc.

I do believe I am not. :-)
I said introducing the flat tax in Greece would not be a solution (if I am not mistaken, there currently is no flat tax rate). That doesn't mean I don't support the current severe cuts.

one last.

you vote me as your president

tmr i make you slaves.

you dont have the right to go on strike cause you voted me

true story
1. Totally unrealistic situation.
2. It would be a very severe violation of human rights, and therefore, the international community would intervene.
3. It's about financial responsibility.

You still don't get it. :/ It's NOT about the total amount, it's about who gets hurt. The weak get to pay the most. That's what seems to be the case and what certainly justifies strikes in my book.
we are talking about a financial war agaist greek people (not congressmen)

2. It would be a very severe violation of human rights, and therefore, the international community would intervene.

what am i trying to say ??? they simply dont care (as we dont care about the millions that are dying everyday in africa etc )

1 this is what is happening atm ^___^
Your human rights are not severely violated. Tell me, what do you propose (as alternative to the solutions of EU).

Everyone gets hurt, everyone has to pay. I don't believe the weak have to pay the most.
i used my brains = solution

the creation of an audit committee.

they did the same at ecuador and the dept went -70%

I don't believe the weak have to pay the most.

Then you are naïve at best. Those with the least political influence get the dirty end of the stick. Political influence is directly related to wealth.
Oh yes, I think if you come with that plan to the European Commission, they will grant you new loans. What the ...

I don't believe the rich pay relative less taxes than the man in the Greek street. I've never read a source stating that.
I've never read a source stating that.

you cant think ? you have to read lies?

thats what you think ^___^
Even if you haven't you should know this is how it works. That is democracy at its finest.
you cant think ? you have to read lies?

No, I have to read sources. I don't invent things about Greece, I read them, that's my only way of getting information. I don't make things up.

thats what you think ^___^

Wow, now you really convinced me. If you think that with 'creating an audit committee' you will satisfy the demands of IMF and EU, you really don't know a thing about those international organizations. They will laugh at you. And they'd be right to do so.
