I think you all miss a point.
The war is the goal! It's no more a way to get something.
the war is tha goal that both (Israeli gov and terroristic leaders) want to keep their power and make their money.
They gain money, control and power.. using and feeding rage and hate between people.
People just pay in diyng, suffering, poverty, blood etc..
When a terroristic group (let's remember Arafat OLP) or a Israeli leader (so much) go tofind a way for a real peace politic they are subsituted, killed or simply no more financiated..
the solution, I think it's obvious, stop selling weapons both sides, total embargo of everything BOTH SIDES (except food and medicine) .

If you keep it simple I would gladly answer some questions when it come to the conflict right now.
I agree, war is the goal in the middle east, but not as Israel concerned. Our democracy doesnt rely on the war, and our politicians get less money when were at war time. We suffer from depression at war times.
Hamas on the other hand gets milliards of dollars for war, and it keeps the base of his power and legitimacy in the eyes of their followers.
Guys Israel isnt at war, specially not with Egypt and I hope the attack from Egypt borders was a one time thing. We have peace agreement with them and we paid for it the whole Sinai Deseret to get it. I hope the next terrorist attack will be stopped before it reaches our borders since we cant defend our selves on Egyptian lands.
Arafat threw out the peace agreement Barak(our prime minister has given him), and opened a second Intifada. His act got half of the Arab world mad at him for not agreeing to a very good deal, the best offer any one has ever hopped for.
I imagine you all want to live in peace. Right now were bombarded by Gaza with missiles, already with casualties and injured. All I wanted tonight is to go on a date with a girl I met, selfish I know.

In the past there were several threads and in all of them one racist antisemitic Charles Hill quoted sources from Hamas TV to Quaddafi newspapers (or such like) attacking anything to do with Israel and/or Jews, with vehemence and without restraint. He was close at times to justifying Hitler and denounces anything regardig Israel news, views or opinions of Israeli Sokker members, as the work of the devil. Most of us Israelis have stopped commenting here about these subjects because we felt that while attacks made on Israel and Jews were OK-ish by Sokker Mods' standards, attacks on the person of Charles Hill were not.
It's shameful, but in line with the ridiculous poisonous rhetoric we witness at the UN which has become a laughing stock in the last few years, admitting Syria and Iran into the Human Rights Council and appointing North Korea to Chair the Nuclear Disarmement Committee. But the UN is really not the issue here.
The issue of Israel & Palstinians is a very hot potatoe, which is bound to bring only strong emotions and bitter disputes here in Sokker, a place clearly made for fun. Chedrles Hill can continue to spew his unadlterated speeches of hate and boil in his own dark world where Jihadists are martyres and all Jews are evil zionists controlling the world. Most Israelis - and Ohad too when he overcomes his temporary need to be liked ;-s - will stay away from such discourse mine fields.
...and as a parting word I'll say - don't believe all you hear in the media... come and see for yourselves! and no need to be worried, Tel-Aviv won 3rd place in the best Tourist city in the world by the 2010 Lonely Planet Guide! :)

Although I most of time strongly disagree with Charles Hill, this is plain bullshit. He is not a racist at all, and he certainly would never justify Hitler's actions, I hope nobody will do that.

You said that you believe there is no one who isnt guilty in Israel, youu gave two reasons for it. one: we chose the right winged party, second: every child will be in the military, therefore he is guilty too.

To bad its not all black and white, part of the reason Hamas was chosen is because he gives money and education to his people. I am not saying it is good, I am not even speaking about the fact he is part of the reason, and a big part that his population is in a state of neediness.
Look at the west bank and it is one of the best places to live in the Arab world.

A small win for Apple in the patent-war in Smartphones, but overall they loose, Samsung and Android are the real winners :D And I'm very happy about that, I really don't like Apple. Hope Samsung can solve the "method of scrolling" soon so when the Samsung Galaxy S3 is ready for sale next year I can buy 1 :)
But overall I think it's becoming an idiot soap all these lawsuits. Patent this and patent that, and many of these technologies aren't even made by the companies themselves but bought so they can sue the competition.
