That was just a freaking shocking news.. Big names lost for vain because of the goddamn soviet planes. Planes crash every once in a while but when it's carrying a complete ice hockey team.. you just can't believe that..
2011-09-07 16:08:21
who was famous in this local team ? but RIP anyway
2011-09-07 16:11:47

2011-09-07 16:15:24
Wow, that must be a shock for all the fans (and ofcourse all family, friends etc, but that's obvious) ... I really can't imagine all players of my favorite team die in 1 crash.
2011-09-07 16:20:59

first of all RIP for the victims of the crash in Russia. s there any news about the sole survivor?
There is a special group of people who are lone survivors of crashes....there is even one person surviving multiple crashes as the only one.

anyway; @Etienne; very well spoken..happy that the french are with us.

@rumpil yu vote rightwing you think; not knowing anything about free elections ofcourse..your remarks are however extremely leftwing...supporting the wrong sides.
Then you com up with ww1 and ww2? Get a life; again that is a known leftwing tactic; change subject and come up with worldwar 2 andaim that you are against the nazi's and therefor your opponent must be a nazi or a fascist or wrong.
It is the claim of solidarity and human rights, of feeding africa; letwing people really think they make it all happen and rightwing people are bad and do not give to others...
reality shows different prove; rightwing people pay more taxes, and give more money voluntarely.
so what point do yo want to make...want your old eastblock back? communism was fun wasn't it?

mitch... you just didnt understand my opinion/attitude.

I am not talking about who is better, if Quaddafii or Szarkozy and so.... I am just talking about huge hypocrisy in EU and the fact that if a lot of people dont like US because of their aggressive war actions, EU is totally same, just weaker. (so Lybia was never about freedom, democracy or so...) And I really dont like attackers, violence and asertivity based on power.

There is just one man, who has no hypocrisy opinions and he is not fear to tell it in public.

Ruige_Ronny
I mean come on:
- our soldiers had a free training area
- there are less possible immigrants now
- the libyans have new housing possibilities since we created open spaces by bombing it
- we have the oil, they have the misery and the casualties
- we 'helped' and ruled out China that way
- we even created a government according to our model

What more could you ask for? ;-)
2011-09-07 21:17:07
btw...in past years our famous football player (Dubovsky) tragically die, now, slovakia has also tragically dead hockey man....really sad :-(
2011-09-07 21:53:21
apart from how you quote me i also think we did a good thing by chasing away Khadaffi. Our total parliamant (right and left) supported our participation and we don't even have oil companies. So the Belgians (also) went for humanitarian reasons. Of course, every medal has 2 sides. There must be something in it: honour, respect, money, power,.. something meaningfull enough(or maybe all what I posted before).
I don't sleep a minute less since I know that the politicians for whom I voted consented with war on the cruel soldiers of Khadaffi.
When I see in the news about how they tortured those civilians I am nearly proud that my country bombed those **** in the ground =p.

What I posted before was posted in a half cynical half ironical mood because of you thinking we only did it for that. I can speak for Belgium that we didn't. What a left parties we would have then :p
2011-09-07 22:12:11
I know.. but you have big secret true :-)

i think your government and people just think how good is their help.... history and Libyan future will show you, that you maybe didnt change a lot just killed a lot ....
2011-09-07 23:40:03
You've got that right. I don't buy the 'they went for the oil' crap, as the West is generally better served by stable regimes. No matter how cruel or deadly they might be. However, especially since nobody seems to be helping them with the actual state building, the chances just another cruel regime will replace the former one are so high it's a virtually guaranteed result. Plus, the old tribal divisions are still very much in place. I wouldn't be surprised to see another civil war in a year or two.

so if EU leave them alone, they can have peacefull normal life till now ... with better social benefits than my country has... so why was war needed there ???? War for nothing (except some economy reasons)
