Ofcourse this first report was completely nonsense and had nothing to do with international law but was all politics:
The so-called Palmer Report on the Israeli attack of May 2010 that killed nine Turkish activists also ruled that Israeli Defence Forces had used “excessive” force but “did not violate the international law” and held both Israel and the Gaza Freedom Flotilla activists responsible for the violence.
And Lieberman also had something to say about the independent state of Palestine (you know, the 'men' who said to drown thousands of Palestinian prisoners in the Dead Sea:

- There never was a free Palestine after WOII. There were a lot of plans before and after WOII, but defacto the British were in control.
In the 2 months before the British moved out, Jewish forces started to occupy the territory assigned to the new Jewish state, but as well key positions in the territory that was assigned to a Palestina state.
(Note: In reality there was a civil war going on. I'm not disputing the right for the Jewish forces to defend themselves, but there is the fact that they occupied more territory then assigned and also drove Arab inhabitants from these areas.)
At the moment of the proclamation of the State of Israel, Arab countries attacked the new state but also occupied parts of the territory that was assigned to the Palestine State.
So in reality there never was a free Palestina, thanks to the Jewish forces and the Arab countries.
- The main reason for the Arab leaders to support the Axis, was not to kill jews, but their dislike of the (mainly) British. This was mainly driven by the British being the force of control in the region for many years.
I'm sure those leaders were not very found of jews, and really didn't care if they got killed, but that is another story.
I think it is very simpel when it comes to Palestine, Israel and the other states around Israel. All of them have been quilty of war crimes and have little respect for International Humanitarian Law.

For problematic areas we have UNO, but UNO is useless last 50years. UNO tried to solve this by map of region after WW2 but independent wars of Isreal changed the map and escallated conflict. Now there are two evils, Isreal army on one side and palestine fighters for freedom, maybe silently supported by arab states on second side. Now it is imposible to solve this conflict! One nation have to be erased, to have peaceful times there, very ugly and sad but Israel are slowly winning :(

Reality is that for the Middle East already plans, treaties and commitments were made before the UNO existed. Due to this all parties can claim justification from some form of treatie or resolution.
