Sure.
gaddafi is dead
The other side of the story is that a government needs to help their soldiers, specially when an offer is done. What would it do to the moral of the army when no 1 knows what will happen to them when they are caught and imprisoned. Beside, in a short time hundreds will be arrested again and that won't make it as international news. And Hamas has given up a strong weapon and negotiation position ... much more politics as just a exchange of prisoners. And I can even imagine if a couple of these prisoners starts to fight again it can be used by israel to stop any negotiation with the Palestinians so they can keep doing what they always do (mass punishment).

Maybe it's a PR stunt of both parties.

Netanyahu has problems with social unrest in his country and Fatah just scored good points by claiming stuff in the UN.
Both Hamas and Netanyahu can use some good news.

Indeed, is also an option. It's just much more as only an exchange :) We don't know the hidden agendas.

gaddafi is dead

i hope not, but seems to be true

Yeh, being dead is not a punishment for him as he doesn't know it anymore, would have been better if they caught him alive so he could have been send to jail for life.

next to Bush, right :-) ?

Quaddafi maybe just died on high age :-)
Although the Israeli was a symbol, I still don't think Netanyahu will benefit from this 'deal'.
"He's captured. He's wounded in both legs ... He's been taken away by ambulance," Abdel Majid, a senior NTC military official said.

A photograph taken on a mobile phone appeared to show Gaddafi heavily bloodied, but it was not possible to confirm the authenticity of the picture.

seems really to be true....
and about ten thousand Turkish soldiers in iraq. :@
If I was an Israeli, I would certainly be against this deal. Come on, over a thousand to one, that doesn't seem a great deal for Israel. And yes, Israeli government must try to get those imprisoned soldiers back, but not against each price. This price is too high for Israel imo.
I hope he's not dead.

Me too.
I would like to see the results of elections where he would take a part.

He would get 80% of votes again.

This is the worst fail of NATO, worse than Bosna.
