Kosovo is not a province of Serbia anymore. Face it.

Many still don't understand ;)

U deliberately miss the point of news. Like I sad two Serbian man were killed, and many wounded by Albanians in last three weeks on Kosovo province.

Now, Kosovo province is recogniseed by most europian western countries but U must not ignore that Russia, China,Brasil,India (the most populous states) with most smaller world states does not
recogniseed Kosovo province as independ.
In the end Kosovo is not member of UN. So I am sorry...KOSOVO IS SERBIA.

But now, they can express their opinions.

No they cannot, allthough they can express their opinions much more freely, untill the gunmen are off the streets and normal life resumes there is no real freedom of expression yet.
Or do you think a Lybian can take to the street and claim he would vote for Ghadaffi, without fear of his life?

I reacted on the point of someone claiming that 80% of Libyans would support Ghadaffi. Whether Lybians like or do not like the US/France, etc is a different discussion.

Also the situation in Iraq is different, Iraqi's tolorated the US (and others) in their country because it would allow them to get rid of Saddam Hussein. But even then they did love the US because of what happened during and after the 1st Gulfwar.

So that makes Kosovo a part of Serbia then? Americans are being killed in Iraq, that makes Iraq a part of the States now? So we didn't miss the point. It's sad that people were killed (although I still haven't got a reliable source of this in English, French or German), but that isn't relevant to the case (the case being the question if Kosovo is a part of Serbia).

The Kosovo state, not the Kosovo province are recognized by most EU-members. China etc. recognize the Kosovo province.

And I don't care what Russia or China think about that. And it even doesn't matter for me if Kosovo is recognized by the UN. Palestine isn't recognized by UN either, but I still consider Palestine an independent state. Just like Kosovo or Belgium. Serbia has no jurisdiction in Kosovo anymore, so it's pointless to say Kosovo is a part of Serbia.

And IF you Serbians want to join EU (you are an official candidate-member now), you'll have to accept Kosovo's independence. Just like you had to find Mladic etc. If you refuse to do so (if you refuse to accept an independent Kosovo) you'll never be part of EU. Your choice.

U deliberately miss the point of news.

deliberately? I didn't comment on your post, did I? My comment was on Rubinho's post.

And yes, it's sad people still can't live together in peace after so much suffering of war. Hope this will change some day.

About the independence of Kosovo as a country (and no, not a province):
- Kosovo independence move not illegal, says UN court

Kosovo's legal status, it has established its own army and intelligence agency, issued passports and set up its embassies. A national anthem has also been adopted. It has also become a member of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.

And why are some countries opposed to an independent Kosovo ... because of their own fears about secessionist challenges and the aspirations of minority groups. Recognition of Kosovo could open a "Pandora's box" in countries like Russia, China, Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, Spain and Greece. Besides, Russia is an ally of Serbia and will never recognize the independence of Kosovo. I think probably 1 day when voting for a resolution is needed they will abstain, like the other countries. Same as happened with the resolution for a no-fly zone over Libya.

First of all NATO broke rules. They cant intefere in states own issues.
The rebels are payed and armed from USA, France and so on... The rebels are not even from Lybia, many of them are immigrants.
The funny part is, that also Gaddafi's army is armed by USA, Great Britain and France.

And i gonna ask you a question:
Why does not NATO or USA intervene in Zimbabwe or better example Kongo? There's a genocide. Noone cares.
And one subquestion. Why NATO and USA attacked Lybia? Well we all know the true answer to the subquestion.

Lol, that's all very nice and so on, but not the point. The point is that you claimed that 80% of Libyans are pro-Gaddafi, unable to prove it. I said that the past developments - the quick power change (and yes, it was quick, remind yourself of Iraq/Afghanistan) - rather speaks for the opposite.

But to answer one of your questions. Noone cares for Kongo/Zimbabwe because they're simply not important. That's as clear as hard to face. Personally I "like" the extreme example of Africa being sunk into the ocean and world economy would hardly notice it apart from some rare goods.

Well i am willing to give my whole material assets, that there will not be "best possible life standard" in Lybia. I doubt that there will the life standard they had before NATO attacks.

You and rumpil are very busy on proving me wrong on something I never said. I didn't write that they'll have better life standards from now on, actually I think the opposite. I just wanted to point out to rumpil that good life standards doesn't exclude revolutions (as you might now the initiants of french revolution 1789 were not poor either).

On the short run, people might have to give up some of their wealth, but I believe that on the long run - if the new government invest the money from oil well - they will see their wealth increased. Revolutions should never be judged on the short run.

how many Germans actually liked Hitler round 44 45?
how many americans like Obama?
how many people owned their lives and from Ghadafi is probably how many liked him..
luckily the ybians now have at least a chance...be it small and not very mature...
