No double standards. That cows are sacred in India is a religious thing. Totally different than forbidding to kill species that are threatened. There are millions of cows. So there is no ecological reason to not kill cows. There is for whales.

Dude, read what I wrote. I said killing animals like that is inhumane. There's nothing wrong with killing animals to eat if they don't suffer from it. (They can suffer from it if there would only be a choice between killing them with suffering or starving yourselves. That is not the case.)
