I know how is to live with a God upper ur head, I know how the masses can be manipulated and taken to a state of collective paranaoia, how one person can become in to a God and own an entire country, how u cant make ur own decisions in ur life and u have to do what the "people" needs, if u havent yet u should read 1984 by george orwell, a brilliant book of how the "truth" can be manipulated and changed to convenience

I have talked to some firends and they agree with me that these people were brought up in such a horrible propaganda that some of them could have cried for real (not everyone heard of starvation and lagers). But never blame such people for that.
i think some of them cried for real too.also in italy there are people that think mussolini is a great exemple of life,same in germany for hitler.propaganda is a real weapon.

On the other hand, there are probably some supporters of the regime anyways, and if they gather somewhere and start crying, it can perfectly be real, and at the same time be a distorted image, because they represent only a small proportion of the people.
But are their emotions real? North Korea is one big system of constant manipulation. Watch the not very numerous videos of schools there. They are robots, being manipulated all the time. The North Korean system is in terms of propaganda comparable with for instance Hitlerjugend. It's an example of to what collectivist systems lead to if the individuals are less important than the state itself. A true horror.

I was only trying to say that nobody can say he is not "manipulated"..
(I obviously think N. korean regime is something of orrible! but it still can build real emotion as well as a sokker match or a religious belief ora a iphone store..)

But you chose for that (maybe not for religion, because religion is often determined by one's education, so it's often a form of parental manipulation). You can chose to be crazy about Apple or Sokker. In North Korea, there is no such thing as a free choice. The state makes the choices for you. And for me, that is fundamentally wrong, because the state should never be above the group of individuals that a society is. In North Korea (and all collectivist regimes), the civilians serve the state. It should be reversed.
