I was only trying to say that nobody can say he is not "manipulated"..

I never said that. However, there are levels of manipulation.

(I obviously think N. korean regime is something of orrible! but it still can build real emotion as well as a sokker match or a religious belief ora a iphone store..)

But you chose for that (maybe not for religion, because religion is often determined by one's education, so it's often a form of parental manipulation). You can chose to be crazy about Apple or Sokker. In North Korea, there is no such thing as a free choice. The state makes the choices for you. And for me, that is fundamentally wrong, because the state should never be above the group of individuals that a society is. In North Korea (and all collectivist regimes), the civilians serve the state. It should be reversed.
I remember some old videos from the 50's when Stalin passed away, everybody was crying like stupid. And there were some villages from Siberia where the manipulation was not the strong i suppose. Im not surprised by coreean's reaction at all, i suppose they are more brainwashed as the soviets were in the 50's.

But you chose for that

you always can chose, the point is what are the instruments and the consequences about your choices..

the rest of your post is an ideological question. Someone can answer the exacly same post using the word "market" in position of "state", I simply think is useless to discuss about it!

You're joking, right? When you are sent to camps if you don't agree with the communist party, there is no free choice.

Just like you can fill in "giant pink pony". It wouldn't make any sense.

read again what you've quoted!

As I wanted to demonstrate, is useless to discuss ideological questions!

Sometimes you can't chose - because you don't even know that you have choice. You are Italian, you have no idea how such a regime like the North Korean is working.
Warning: explicit video, description below

Rumpil, please raise your kids, they should not do this! :p

Now serious: WTF. Why would (Slovakian) children put a living dog in fire? Don't they have like parents to say that is completely insane?

my grandmother always tell me about schools/media/violences in Mussolini's regime, I know what can be done..

everyone knows who is responsible .... even in a democracy ..my opinion

I am no psychiatrist, but I once read that cruelty against animals is a first signal of a future serial killer. (and I don´t mean cornflakes)
2011-12-21 10:04:27
what choice?death torture,

maybe.
in Italy can you kill people?

YES!
if you'll kill then you'll go in jail...
But you had a choice, obvioulsly YES!

(I think people read those post finding in it something I never wrote..)

You're kidding, right? You're saying that coreeans have free will and they choose whatever they want to do? I doubt. We also had comunism for long time, some of us still remember what options we had back than. You cannot compare a crime with genocide.
2011-12-21 10:52:52
Then you always have a choice, but not a free choice. And let that be the kind of choice that is important.
2011-12-21 10:54:08
I just can't believe one would do that. Even as a kid, you've got to have a sick mind to put a dog in fire ...

no.
I say you can ALWAYs chose!
It is nothing so strange in my mind, something obvious..
