I'm not 100% sure, but for as far as I know they are still living in a country with colonial borders and never set their own borders.

And what gives us the right to make that decision? Shouldn't we first leave it to the people in Lybia to decide? Wasn't that what this whole uprising and the military intervention was about?

I think we can't say it isn't justified :) Tribes and other groups of people are put together in 1 colonial country but without that many most probably had formed their own country over time. But they didn't as the colonial Europeans did it for them.

It must be wanted by the people. At the moment, it seems like a majority of Scots wants to keep the union. In 2014, there will be a kind of referendum I thought.

First you were talking about oil, now you start about diamonds and other natural resources.
These all are reasons for war. Always was, is and will be. Why you want talk separately about it ??? It has no sense!

And first you were talking about Libya, now Africa .... please don't start using all kind of examples that have nothing to do with your point.
Is not Libya in Africa ? Please, buy a globe ! This all has one same point. Nobody is really helping Africa, just small help for TV or resources, but it country has some resources (oil, diamonds, animals) they can make even war in name of "help" and "democracy".

Africa will have the fastest growing economies of the world the coming years, up to 4% to 7%
funny.. Slovakia has similar growth last years (before crises) but Russia and Chine has bigger growth. And dont forget that it is easy has % growth when you have nothing, it is just math.

about the starving kids in 1 county of Africa you see on tv.
there is thousands of dying childs and people daily and you are talking about one in TV ??????

if it is not wish/will of majority so there is not necessary independence :-)

Did someone deny that? The nationalists (Scottish National Party) have a majority in the Scottish parliament, that's why it's a major issue in the UK.

That being said to somebody that lives in both Britain and the UK, damn that is a facepalm moment...
