"Asharq Al-Awsa" is not pro Israel newspaper, so it might be his personal ideas.
But as far as I know , the Editor in Chief have a lot of influence on the newspaper side :)

As B'Tselem has repeatedly noted, aiming an attack at civilians is immoral and constitutes a war crime.
than I checked all of the news about Gaza and couldn't find any accuse like that toward Israel.
I guess it show how humanity we tried to be, and who are we dealing with.
the big problem now is that the enemy (Hamas) start to fire their rockets from crowded civilian areas, (schools, mosque, high buildings etc), and using them as a human shield
now we have to decide what to do,
ground forces that will bring both side a lot of suffer or continue with the precise missiles and pray for low mistakes (and yes people its WAR)
We are now at this position and pray that the Hamas will agree for 15 years arrangement,
But as far as I know, nothing getting close to it, as the Hamas refuse to stop fire and make sure that the other organizations (the Islamic Jihad, Ez Adin El Kasam Troops and others) will not fire too.

I personally do not support the settlements, however these days, when we are being deliberately shot, I wonder what would have happend if the Hamas ruled the west bank, less than 15 kilometers from my home. BTW - this is a real crime against the humanity, which no one here is protesting about unless Israel tries to stop it.
