Until there will be free Palestine territory, there will be Hamas breaking peace. What is needed is annexation of remaining Palestinian territory and possibly even Sinai and transfer of unloyal Arabs to some another Arab country when there will be international possibility.

Unfortunatly still way to much propaganda and nationalistic babbling in your post ...

Fortunatly I do live in a country without apartheid, but yes, I most probably would also fight the aggressive and oppressive occupier of my country if they took my land, destroyed my and/or my family's property, my dignity, my future and specially if they took my freedom by roadblocks and imprison me behind their illegal wall, eventhough I and almost all of my fellow people did absolutely nothing wrong other than having a different ethnic background as the occupier (also called racial segregation, or in other words apartheid!!) :/

Btw, about the wall, when completed it will have a length of 700 km (!!), most on the palestinian side of the existing border. And how long is the previous borders without the wall? I'm absolutely sure it isn't 700 km.

What? You are talking about deportation and ethnic cleansing .... when did I hear about this is in the past? Let me think ... it had something to do with trains and concentration camps :/

Let's talk about international law and the right of refugees to return home!

wikipedia - Palestinian right of return

Just want to understand this point once,
do you think that all the Jews and their families that had to escape (or forced to do so) from their houses and properties before and during WWII, have the same rights to return and avecuate the locals that are living there for the last years?

I am talking about transfer, you shall call this ethnic cleansing. This is how were things naturaly solved in thousands of cases. This bring peace between Greeks and Turks or between Czechs and Germans. Its not good solution but its less worse than others.

Problem is that Israeli arabs prefer to not only stay in their places but also to belong to Israel rather than under Palestinian government. territory exchange has been suggested before but apparently they know somethings that Mr. Hill does not.

Most Israelies accept the idea of two states for two nations.
Do the arabs accept? I would love to see that.

Regarding the length of the wall - I am not sure where the 700 km come from.

The wall of the west bank is built and is about 300-400 km. This is reasonable figure, and this was approximately the length of the original border. There are some exceptions to protect several settlements but if and when a peace settlement will be possible, the wall can be altered or removed. Or even better will theoretically not be requiired anymore.

There are also some segments of wall with Gaza. I am not sure how long they are.

The other segment of the border is now being built along the border between Israel and Egypt. They started to build it last year following several terrorist attacks that came from Sinai. I assume that this alone is about 250 kilometers. I will check later.

The idea of two states for 2 nations, has been accepted by the PA, as shown in the joint statement from the Annapolis Conference.
The real issue is not the idea of 2 states, but what territory makes up these states.

I'm not getting involved in your discussion with Charles, and in general try to be as objective as possible.
For me, it does not matter any more "who started what". What is important is how to resolve the Israel/Palestinians situatie in a structural way, so people on both sides can live a normal life....

My personal view on the current affairs is that there is no real interest from Hamas or the current Israeli government to support negotiations for a structural long term solution, based on 2 states.
They both are benefiting from a status quo without negitiations and treaty.
So, the current situation will probably result in a (un)official truce, only for the whole situation to start over again in a couple of months/years.....

What would 2 state solution actualy solve? Lebanon has also country status, but its totally defenseless againist Hezbollah. The same apply to Palestinian territory. If it would get country status, nothing would change. Hamas would still have prepared weapons againist anybody who would challenge their goals which is no Israel. And of course, Israel would still had to take some vehicles to keep situation on managable level even when it would be to foreign country. It would be just much more complicated than now.

Don't know exactly how this is dealt with, but looking at international law, yes they have that right as refugees. Just as belongings of many jews of that time are still searched for to give it back to them or their families.

Qibia was more then 50 year ago,
and sabra and shatila was in the middle of Lebanon war and the goverment went home after that.

Yes we have some bad things in our past (and show ne a country that have no.....),
But you should always remember that we didn't have a peaceful day in our life (accept traveling to Europe:), and the chance for mistakes at that situation i much bigger..........

We tried today to avoid hurting innocent civilian,
but the terror is hiding and firing among them
In each building that might get hurt as Hamas i hiding there (such as the foreign news building that were a hiding place to some terrorist), IDF let the people know before so they can escape in time.

I just wonder what would have happened if it we were on the other position
