Btw, who know why france is attacking in Mali? Reason and background of.conflict
2013-01-27 12:38:34
because they can ;)

pretty much how world politcs work for the past 20 years
2013-01-27 12:39:59
Ok, but what valuable is there? There had to.be some reason :)
2013-01-27 13:09:36
I heard France obtain a lot of their uranium from immediate neighbour Niger.. don't know if that's the reason though.

I also think that economic reasons could be the apparent reason but i see more childish reason into this... Just put bollocks on table because France has no more any power in UE faced to other european leaders and even world leaders... It is just like seeing youngsters who try to pee the farest in a garden...

the good thing is that france didn't bother to make others idiots by saying mali has chemical weapons, leader that is a dictator or any of those random crap united states and their media throw at us and try to make us believe black is white before they start attacking some nation because of oil or just pure fun

true...no I dont have nothing against France attack now. I just hate that hiding behind democracy and so :-)

We (EU) need resources and we are able fight it as well as US army.
Not necessarily.

I can't shoot someone as I don't have a gun, the same for you and everyone else who don't have easy access to guns. And ofcourse not everyone who owns a gun will use it, but to many does. In the past couple weeks a number of shooting incidents happened, also in schools again. It just won't stop when to many people have that easy access to guns.

It is not about Belgium but about the States. Different situation. Indeed, in the Low Countries, the police can be present (relatively) quickly. That's different in the States.

Yes it can be a different situation, but absolutely not in all cases. Living hundreds of miles away from any town makes the situation different, but living in large cities like New York doesn't.

The fact that you start using this as an argument is pathetic. I won't even explain why it's ridiculous.

Denying this fact is ridiculous, and I don't think you can explain why. Just one example: I have seen the outcome of a reenactment of a school shooting, was on tv a couple of weeks ago. Even being prepared and knowing it was going to happen, the guy who had a gun failed to protect himself and his classmates for being killed when the shooter entered the classroom. In fact, the guy with the gun was one of the first targets as he grabbed his gun.

There are many situation it's better to do nothing instead of trying to be the hero, specially when it's only about money. Trying to grab a gun will change you from a victim into a threat.

Never forget history.

No indeed, but we live today, not 100 years ago.

I'm talking about the fundamentals of America itself

Times change and so do fundamental rights. You don't live the same live as others did in your country 100 years ago, and that's normal. Fundamental rights, just as laws, can become outdated as times change.

EDIT: oh, and other things change such as technology. Fudamental rights as owing guns that comes from a time people owned muskets and knives is completely different as today people owning assould rifles :/

ok, guys, please just stop that few pages posts :-DDD. thx.
It just won't stop when to many people have that easy access to guns.

The point is there is no legislation whatsoever that will be able to deal with this 'problem' (I do not consider it a problem but you do). None whatsoever. A lot of Americans will simply refuse to cooperate.

Yes it can be a different situation, but absolutely not in all cases. Living hundreds of miles away from any town makes the situation different, but living in large cities like New York doesn't.

And yet, you are pro banning certain weapons everywhere in the States, no? And if you don't: then a New York citizen can just go to Montana or whatever to buy a gun and then return to New York.

Just one example: I have seen the outcome of a reenactment of a school shooting, was on tv a couple of weeks ago.

Nice example. So what? People should only do what is beneficial for them, or what are you saying here?

Times change and so do fundamental rights.

Times change, fundamental rights don't. Fundamental human rights have nothing to do with the law.

EDIT: oh, and other things change such as technology. Fudamental rights as owing guns that comes from a time people owned muskets and knives is completely different as today people owning assould rifles :/

Assault rifles. And yes, this is true. Criminals change too. So does the state (which is a possible criminal to the individual).

Stop asking that. If you didn't notice, I have never ever stopped anything because you asked for it. Nor will I do in the future.
