Well, I would like to discuss about that, but not with you.
Levitate, don't take your cas into account as you are a minority thinking but look at your neighbors, the whole community how she lives. You will even see it when you will work and have a job even if with your high-level of sutdy, you could avoid to live the major life of workers.
If I would look a lot on how the average person lives, I'd become too cynical, so I prefer to reduce that to a minimum ;-)

less than 2 babies per family
So there'll be more retirees / working man. It's not that bad, because they don't work, only consume (a little). On the other hand it burdens nation states more and more.
you just bought an ipad, and 2 month later, it is already too old
Yes, IT is an exception, it can always create it's consumption, because old models go obsolete quickly. Until this development continues. But other industries are not that lucky. Automobile industry is still a leading sector of World's economy and in the occidental world basically everyone already has a car, who wants, and they already change it in every few years, so it's hard to get growth here.
Look, you or your neighbour awake at 6h, have 1h of transport to job, work 10-12h paid 8h, go back to home at 19h, have rest with family, have dinner, some TV shows, internet, and sleep and ? nothing... too much tired...
This can be a problem. Productivity needs to be higher, individuals need to work more, so who has a job, will have less time to consume. Japanese economy is suffering from this for decades by now. Without international regulations / agreements, national governments will be forced to improve productivity, lowering labour rights, so their products will be more competitive. But if everyone does this, when will people buy their stuff?

We will never get a WW as it happened because the world would never agreed on that...
Never say never. Wait until the Chinese economy slows down significantly, and if we survive that without the collapse of their government and any kind of war, than we're ok I guess.

Sorry, true, just express an opinion.
But on contrary with WWII where democracies were at beginning, the world of economy (not global at all), industry too, nowadays, with the control of the world by bankers and insurers and biggest industrial companies, 'im quite sur ethey will never permit to stop the economy like that even with a chinese government like it is and too much head chinese politics are already involved with economy's world to want to change everything. But with their strenght, it is sure that this economy will frighten a lot occidental economies leadership.

Let's hope this is an opportunity for Venezuela. The world and Venezuela are probably better of without him standing up. Although I fear not much is going to change. Latin-America has made its shift towards leftist regimes.
Steve Horwitz (professor of economics at St. Lawrence University (NY)):
I am not one to dance on graves, but goodbye to that bastard. The world is better off with him joining the great table of murderous dictators in the sky. Or in the other place. The world just got a little freer today.

In Belgium, a man has been sentenced to jail for 4 months ... because he ruptured a Koran in front of a group of Muslims. According to the man, those Muslims threw the Koran to his head first, after which he ruptured it.
Is this the introduction of Sharia to Belgium? Is there really no freedom of speech at all?

Nice, Rand Paul (R-KY) is filibustering in the American Senate. The subject is Obama's CIA Director nominee John Brennan. He's been talking for 8 hours now, and unless a 60% majority of the sworn Senators (so 60 Senators regardless of the number of Senators that are present) votes to stop him, he can continue to talk, about what he wants. He's even allowed to just read a telephone book, unless the Senate votes to stop him (but with the Republicans having more than 40% of the votes, that's unlikely). The record is over 24 hours.
Rand Paul, "I will not let Obama shred the Constitution" is probably making his father very proud at the moment.

Anti-hate and anti-discrimination laws for religious beliefs.
And there it is. The Catholic Church has a new pope. He is called Pedophilius, but they are uncertain about whether he is the first one.
