I'll end it here, you are claiming I dance around my arguments, I claim the same about you, so quite frankly, I don't see the point in going further into this debate. We'll once again have to agree to disagree because of the fact that you want to impose the will of the majority on the minority while I prefer everyone to be free and to decide for himself what he wants to spent his money on.

Why? Why is this land the property of the Belgian state? Why can't I proclaim my own country if my house is my property? Apparently, because the majority decides so. But what majority? Why only the Belgians? Why not include the Dutch to vote? Who defines within what context that majority must be found?
Because state create property. So without state you don' have your house.

"Hunger is unacceptable" is a utopian statement. It would mean that if somebody sits on the street without any attempt to find a job, he should get food by the government. For as long as he lives. Crazy.

No, let people die of hunger, f*** them! :S And when the governement stepped in the hunger problem was over. Difficult to admit governements can be good, right??
And no, it aren't people who sit on the streets and do nothing, most of them (80% is the number they mention) have jobs but because of low wages they can't afford a normal living. That's what your utopia will be without labor rights, and even a lot worse. Besides, many people aren't without a job because they want to, but because of many other reasons. One of the reasons is to less regulations on important poweful world businesses (like banks) and why we have a crisis right now, and people loosing their jobs ......
I really start to wonder if you are okay (my opinion). Those comments and convictions about people (not only about poor people, I have seen a few more of these comments from you) without a bit of nuance or sense of reality and consequences. Words as 'care for', 'affection', etc doesn't seem to be understoot by you.
Anyway, here you have it again: Stir The Pot with a New Hunger Documentary, and now watch it without your pre-judgement based on a federal state with a failing government that you have to live with, and you already came to that conclusion on the Dutch forum.

That's indeed also one of those words, and the lack of sympathy. Probably you know a few more, but you understand what I mean.
I can't believe that after such a long time that we have had discussions, that you still react like this. First of all, I have to admire how can sound surprised. Second of all, you still don't know that I lack any kind of socialist reaction (the government must do this or must forbid that). That, however, does not mean that I don't care for it. Please, Charles, you should have known that by now.

It does, or better, for me it does have a lot to do with being human, to have sympathy, etc. And this has nothing to do with socialism whatsoever. If some ideology is that more important as helping people who are in serious problems, then it is exactly the lack of all of that.

And without help these people, children are growing up without enough food while they need it that hard to get strong and healthy.

Primates also know the concept of sharing and mutual interests which proves we are born with 'we' and not 'I', and primates know nothing about socialism or any other form of political ideology. So living as 'I' is way more against our nature as 'we'.

A human being is an individual. Individuals can choose to live together in group. But they remain individuals with individual rights. I am an I. That doesn't mean that I don't care for the people around me, it means that I want to stay an independent entity. One should not be a parasite (see Ayn Rand).

The point is that the "facts" you take here are often propaganda.
I explained why Germnay is using euro to dominate euro-area, I explained how the debt crisis is created and how the euro buracrats are running this crisis (stupidly!).
But you prefer to think that I'm blaming Germany to forget our politicians responsability..
I have some news for you, I blame my politicans to not defend us from German euro-domination.
And still remains that I didn't do any loan for myself, but I'm paying for the wrong loans the germans bank had given in all europe for 12 years..
Those private banks gived them to greece, and EU (so every taxpayer in euro area) payed and will continue to pay.
they gived them to spain banks, and we are still paying (10 billion yesterday to Bankia, last example).
and the same for Ireland, Portugal, Cyprus,
and coming soon Slovenia and France..
and WHY?
What advantage take euro to us?
NONE.
Only a fixed change area where german investments are protected against the currency floating.
An area where no one can devaluate is currency to regain competitivity, so the big get bigger.
An area where elected governements can be forced to do what european commission says.
An area where some of the bigger economy of the wordl got depressed and can't do any expansive politic..
an area that is bringing crisis to the whole world economy. And after all this we even destroyed at leat 10 years of development to follow the austerity religion of some idiot.., that can't understand what is private debt and what is public debt.
