No wonder. They arrested him, and banned his party.
Erdogan is not a big fan of the Kemalist state. Not at all.
its a pitty that the most modern islamic country, wich could serve as an example of how to do to other islamic countrys, now is goberned but not really pro kemalist people. I think some ( big fishes on turky army) are willing that erdogan or his party finish and convert in some kind of demochristian party but in an islam way
Like if in Italy, p.e., govern the demochristians like in the past...they didnt ban the condoms, even their religion says condoms are a sin. Thats fine, they have a believe but dont try to imposs it by law.
I hope first in Turkey, and second in other countries sth like this could happen, the world will be then a better place
Google that, and you'll find plenty of information.
Founded the info, but saying its some kind of project still. Not really many info in spanish anyway, later when i have a rest i´ll googler it in english

they tried but failed.
there aren't religious political parties that don't try to impose their moral law

?
?
He was arrested in '98, and his earlier party was banned, because he offended the secularist idea of kemalism.
+ After he came to power, a military coup (in the name of kemalism, as usual) was also feared.
So he's probably not a big fan of the kemalist state, indeed.

I misinterpreted, now it makes sense ;-)

didnt know that, and how they were stopped? in anti condoms laws, or divorce?
and what did their voters say? i mean, i guess in your country happens like in mine, many people define their selves as catholics, but sex out of marriage or condoms are usual and not considered as sin, like soft catholics or cultural catholics. What did they say? i dont think all voters of demochristians were hard catholics but there should be many people like soft right wing, isnt it?
just curiousity ; )

Every party with the exception of true libertarians tries to impose their moral law. European 'liberals', socialists, Muslims (see Bangladesh: Islamists want to make a law that forbids people to insult Islam, with the capital punishment in case of a 'violation') or Christians. They all try to do it. Libertarianism is the only way to stop them from succeeding.

One good thing about this crisis - the prices of houses are finally starting to be more or less normal
Hm, that seems to be different here.
Real estate prices are going through the roof in Berlin.

in bruges I its 3000+ euro/m² for new building ... don't know if you call that normal or through the roof.
3000 euro/m² is average or a little below average I guess. In the city centre the prices would be much higher though. More like 5000 or more.
However, the prices have been rising a lot lately. I'd say 10-15% within the last year.

In Poland the prices have fallen by ~15% from what I see
of course the 'top' spots kept their price as possible buyers don't care much about the crisis
the cheapest houses, built for those who can't spend a lot ( for example young people ) have fallen drastically, which is great news for me:P
near last metro stations you can find offers with 1500 euro/m2
the thing is that I'm talking about Warsaw, and Warsaw had an amazing developer-boom in last 10 years. companies have invested a lot in many projects assuming that people will keep on buying with the same rate as they did lately, but now the situation of potential buyers has worsened. therefore buyers can't afford the houses and if developers can't sell their houses, then they can't make new investments

Netherlands won't be next. You've asked if Belgium was next too. Our economies aren't messed up like the Southern European economies are. Face it. It's your own fault that you get screwed now. (Yes, Euro didn't help, but Euro helped for almost a decade to ignore your true problems.)
