With men, yes. With idiots, no.

ROTFL,
so why are you trying to insult me?

anyway.
The choices made by a group are responsability of that group, obviously.
I don't find anythisg to say about it.

In your stupid idea that try to classify everyone as socialist if he doesn't believe as you do in markets perfection.. you failed to see that my idea is that the worst responsability for the euro coming tragedy is in the european socialist side..

I'm just stating the obvious here.

Lets talk about Thatcher rather than insulting others.

She had great personality and charisma, but her politics is somewhat disputable and some leftists realy hate her for domestic or foreign politics. For some is she female version of W.Churchill, standing for country even when majority doesnt.

Well, I don't fully agree with her foreign policy (especially on Northern Ireland), and during her cabinet, government expenditures didn't decrease enough. She did save the UK from becoming a failed state though.

However, I respect the ideas she put forward and the way she defended those. A great politician. She also showed there is no such thing called the glass ceiling. There are only preferences.
why dont yoy give yourself a break, and give the rest a break too ( is tyring to other people to read you in the way wou write)

just in last 4 pages, you say sth about idiots, you say sht about "improve your reading skills" you say sth as....you acting as judge! when no one has give you the power neither the respect to judge anyone

its like in kindergarden: and and.....and you dont know to read. And and..and you are an idiot. And my father is stronger than yours and is gonna hit you and your father. See you at half past five, ibn the main dor of kindergarden center, when class are over
you acting as judge! when no one has give you the power neither the respect to judge anyone

Nobody has to give me the power to judge whoever I want to judge. Just ignore it if you don't care about it.
i mean that is absolutly tyring. That phrases like "you dont know to read" are childish and dosent apport anything to the discussion

if your arguments were like this:

Well, I don't fully agree with her foreign policy (especially on Northern Ireland), and during her cabinet, government expenditures didn't decrease enough. She did save the UK from becoming a failed state though.

However, I respect the ideas she put forward and the way she defended those. A great politician. She also showed there is no such thing called the glass ceiling. There are only preferences

it would be fine, but thats not your common posting, you always go into the childish behaivour, with the result of the conversation having less and less interest

My replies depend on your content (or the lack of it).

That's true for the evolution over time, but not for cross-country comparisons. It is still the case, however, that real labor costs are more interesting than nominal costs. In the case of changes over time, that's more or less the point you made (the only difference is that, form the point of view of labor costs, what matters it's not the general price index, but the price of the goods sold - ideally, you would compute standardized costs at the firm level, then aggregate).

But perhaps the most important point is that these are roughly hourly wages (i.e., hourly wages and other per hour costs). Hence, productivity is completely absent from the picture. If you omit that, it would seem rather stupid to produce anything at all outside the rightmost 4 or 5 countries in that graph :P That's why, in general, unit labor costs (UCL) are preferred for comparison purposes, especially if you are going to consider comparisons across sectors or aggregates of several sectors, etc. These hourly costs could be OK if you are looking at within-firm or within-sector costs over time, with a more or less constant technology of production, such that changes in hourly costs can be interpreted as actual changes in production costs.

British leftists were celebrating Thatcher's death. What would 'the left' have said if I was celebrating the death of Chavez?

She got the UK out of trouble. The least you could give her is a minimum of respect after her death.
What would 'the left' have said if I was celebrating the death of Chavez?

Well, you didn't celebrate it, but many Venezuelans did.
