Subject: »NEWS AROUND THE WORLD

Exactly, but i'd add that media give people every new tradegy they can to blind everyone into tragedy... Syrian deaths are online for too much time... Here we all saw blood on the street, in directlive, with many view angles, every media could use all the "nice" same experts of terrorism to come and tell us every thing everyone has heard days ago, month ago, years ago... Only one thing for not being a sheep... See or hear info no more than 2 sec. to just see facts only facts... And terror is really good for politics to keep the sheeps around them.

I've seen somewhere, that Maduro has consulted with shamans and they "cursed" Capriles and his supporters. I don't know if it's true, but if it is, then it's very sad, because:

1) It shows that he disrespects not only his opponent, but his voters too. That's a bit totalitarianistic behaviour.
2) It's always annoying, when the government don't seem to give a damn about reality, and insanity comes to power.

Anyway, what you wrote is already sad. Hopefully it will be enough for Maduro, that they "won" the elections, and they won't take away freedom rights from the people.

Criminals were sent to electoral centers to kick out those members and witness.

It's also interesting why criminals are supporting the government in a country which has a very high crime rate, and lots of kidnaps.

Maduro is not catolic man, he believes in Sai Baba. Im pretty much ignorant about such believes. So I dont know anything about shamans or wichcraft. But this thing I know: He verbally cursed the people that voted against him 4 or 5 days before the elections. We surprised about what he says because "how some people that wants to be the president of a country curses the people that doesnt believe in him?".

and they won't take away freedom rights from the people.

He starts to kick out everybody that doesnt recognized his "goberment". Today all oposition members of the national congress has been fired from any presidential comission they lead. Also the congress will not allow the right to speak to none of them that doesnt recognize Maduro as president

May I believe this is the start from a Coup d'État?

this guys of the goberment doesnt trust in the army as protectors of their "revolution". So they gave money to the highest generals to shut them. In other hand starts to better arm those criminals that feels in the goberment the unique place of bussines so they can make robbery and murder and kidnaps and police do anything.

There some groups named "la piedrita" for mention justo one. Arm with war guns. Nobody touchs them because the goberment protects them and they protect the goberment

i givew you opinions of spanish press, in general:

- some spanish were invited as international "watchers" to the elections, they said the elections seemed right and transparent

- no opinions about why not counting again the votes

-about chavez and maduro, they are seen generally as populists. We are informed in the way that: Democracy in Venezuela exists, but the goverment is not that good with freedoom of speech when they give money to control the most papers and Tvs as possible. They let oppositte informtion but like they help too many to the pro-gov press and TVs

-Like an example of this last: it was shown a public tv program, and when the results were said. the "presentadora" was clapping hands and hapopy with the result! Thats shocking, as a reporter of a public TV , paid with state money so with money from chavists and oppositer, well she should demosntrate some neutrality even she thinks whatever on her mind

-In general, we saw Venezuela not as Cuba but as a democracy. But its like some people ( just some) think you may take the Cuba way. That shouldnt be good for you people, hope this dosent happens

Intresting press opinion after Maduro overreacted for Margallo´s comments and menace spanish companies in Venezuela

some spanish were invited as international "watchers" to the elections, they said the elections seemed right and transparent

I remember some international watchers (spanish included) speaking in press and saying a recounting of the votes is a MUST and Maduro can´t ligitimate with this doubt in more than 7 millon people that vote against him, vote for him and international opinion

In general, we saw Venezuela not as Cuba but as a democracy. But its like some people ( just some) think you may take the Cuba way. That shouldnt be good for you people, hope this dosent happens

I share this opinion, We are not cuba "yet" but the most time that happens the more they want to we like them.

from my (superficial) point of view the "choices" you have is between a populists and nationalist left semidemocracy and a USA ruled right party.
I really don't know what to prefer. To be cheated or to turn into a colony..

The view of press in the Czech republic is pretty same. Maduro as populist and Venezuela as flawed democracy but legitimate because majority of Venezuelans love their leader. Thank you for insight to elections.

Its up to Venezuelans to fight againist populism and corruption, its long way and every country has it in some size. Until will current government support terrorism or start removing physically opponents, I am fully againist any foreign intervention in Venezuelan affairs.

thanks for your opinion, and for everyone´s opinion.
About to be cheat or to turn into a colony I dont know. Maduro´s Socialims is a colony from cuba, for example. We see cuban flags hoisted in the presidential palace, militar forths, gubenarmental buildings, tribunal courts, etc...

and this women down here is the president of the supreme court of venezuela

So, we are a colony of cuba and honestly day after day that we see this things, rumors of cuban militars comanding venezuelan militars, maduro saying in vox populi that a decision he has to "consult it", we are hating more this cubans
2013-04-18 13:40:10
well I doubt you really are a colony of Cuba.
it is only an ideological demonstration. and a flag does not demonstrate anything.

In Italy we have a lot of EU flags, but we are colonized by Germany..

Maduro as populist and Venezuela as flawed democracy but legitimate because majority of Venezuelans love their leader

the main problem is maduro is not a leader. This leadership is inherited after chavez died. Last Chavez´s Tv appearance told to his people he will going to a dangerous surgery and if he dies he asking his people with "his heart" to vote for maduro.

So, this people that supported chavez took this like a "command", like and "divine order" and knowing that Maduro is a crap they dont care because the only thing that matters is to acomplish the last order of chavez. Many of the people supporting chavez says something like this "chavez I swear for my life I will vote for maduro"

Blind people in my opinion

Of course Maduro´s electoral campaign take advantage of this.

Now, after elections, all this supporters of chavez, this people a 100% blind they really got mad for their "victory" because oposition leader take more votes that they thought so they started to named that people traitors.

Now, the people that support this madness with more brain and eyes now is asking why maduro denies a recounting of the votes. Is starting to be very very suspicious for they. So, I dont think Maduro is a populits, Chavez was a real populits. Maduro took an heritage but he´s loosing it, he lost nearly 1 millon votes during his campaign (demostrating to the people how bad is to scape from the school) and with this "dictatorialship behavior" he still loosing people that doesnt believed in him but voted for him just for chavez pity.

Its up to Venezuelans to fight againist populism and corruption

yes, agreed. Is up to us and just by us.
But I wanted to wrote this situation in an international forum so the people could take an idea about what´s going on here beyond the press.
2013-04-18 13:50:22
yes, flags dont demostrate a colony. But when the "elected president" was asked for something and he answers "Wait, I have to consult" you asked yourself "consult with who?" He isn´t the leader?
2013-04-18 14:02:36
btw, this is in your country

Venezuelan embassador (the guy in the center with red shirt and glasses) in Italy goes in Rome streets supporting maduro

but why with a cuban flag???
That makes me feel humiliated, Cuba is not my country!
