The man who fought for US rights for privacy, for democracy is now public target of US politics and army.
He found first save place in Hong Kong and Russia, democratic state, protector of democracy, offered him assylum.

LOL.... very interesting. If US army or CIA will not killed him, he can live free in democratic Russian. Times are changing, world is changed....

U.S. Senator John McCain called for the invasion of Hong Kong today in response to recent leaks about secret surveillance programs.

In an interview with BBC World News, the hawkish Republican said that by hosting the leaker, Edward Snowden, Hong Kong has proven itself to be an enemy of the United States.

this we are calling fight for rights and democracy :-DDD
He wants to get to Iceland (which is the country I expected him to go in the first place instead of Hong Kong). I hope he gets political asylum there.
I suppose US will make "fake kiddnapping" later....or maybe they shoot him. But not now...
nobody can hide from US gov :-)

He's made himself pretty harmless now, I don't see any reason why the US would risk that. Ironically, they will keep a close eye on him.

Regarding the Ron Paul video: The slippery slope argument is sometimes used a bit too easily, but in this case, I think he's right, because in case of a new terrorist attack (either by domestic or foreign groups) security measures would be tightened even further as a response.

People are silly, Greeks dont have economics power to save their country on current levels, so it is simple economics reason and 2000 saved wages every month :-).

I am sure that there are still tens of another TV which are showing daily news. In my country, I dont want news on state TV I consider better news on commercial TV :-D.

Greeks should went to bancrupcy a couple of years ago, if they didnt choose this, aggressive savings and cuts in state budgets are necessary.
