No. They at most, represented christian culture, not belief. Furthermore, in west Europe christanity is in a minority. Opposite to Arabs where generally almost every of them is a muslim.
And generally that's not clash of religions, that's clash of a cultures.

Maybe this is the problem :D? italian "politician" and Tjech "politician" signing in at Euro parlement for there 300 euro daily expenses and then leave after 5 minutes, what a day of work.
The italian mug doenst even speaks english lol of he is just playing everybody I don't know what would be worse. Begin is in dutch rest in english.

De Gucht (Belgian EU Commissioner for Trade) said: "If you pay peanuts, you get monkeys". I agree with that. Elected politicians can have a good income. But what the EU is paying its employees and the MEP's is so over the top there are no words for it.
Of course, for instance, the Bulgarian MEP's will always earn a lot compared to the average Bulgarian citizen, because the Bulgarian MEP must earn as much as the Swedish one does.
