yeah, but as you neither me neither no one we havent a magic crystal ball to tell us when this moment gonna happen..then better use other variables than "seconds before the bubble pops"

unless you have 20-50% of bitcoins so you can decide when it pops. But even so, in this investment, it has been an outfactor like "people with bitcoins cant tranform it longer into dollars" what has made the bubble to crash, so..

Essentially, despite the money-related names it gets and its marginal use as a means of exchange, bitcoins are basically more or less like paintings. It is just an asset of dubious liquidity, that can experience high price increases (say you buy some local painter's work for afew buclsand he later becomes as famous as Van Gogh) or big decreases (you buy your neighbour's overrated paintings at Van Gogh prices, and then he goes out of fashion).

As a "currency", it is an emerging payment technology which is still to be fully developed, and it may or may not endure, but doesn't contribute much on top of already existing online-payment technologies like Paypal, credit cards, etc. There was some potential anonymity feature that was mostly useless for legal purposes :P (in most cases you want both your info and sellers' info all over the place, in case you need to go to court). And then it had this fictional claim of being "government-free", when actually you are still subject to the regulation of tons of governments when dealing with it. There are always two options: something is clearly defined as a particular government's concern, or it becomes the concerns of all governments simultaneously :P

Bottom line: online shopping or not, the hype around bitcoin was simply about its huge price fluctuations - on the upswing, that is. And there is no such thing as "high expected return - low risk" in this world - just as there are no former Nigerian officials wanting your help to move u$s 70.000.000 out of the country :P

a magic crystal ball

That would be great to have :D

But indeed, no one has such a ball (except for a few gypsies ;)) so it will always be a gamble when to cash in and get out, even when you think you are using some 'safe' variables.

well, there are not safe variables, just some basic information that may help you to get the risk lower. But yes, always there will be risk, on any kind of investment, even in the safest ones are risk ( risk is lower but it exists)

EU and USA want block Janukovic' bank accounts.
(Janukovic - Ukraine president who is suspicious of stealing money by bad contracts (same case as Tymosenkova is :-) ))

But the biggest fun is that Juscenko has his bank accounts mostly in USA, but banks got command few days ago hide his accounts so nobody can say that Janukovic is owner. Really ridiculous fact from USA.

Also Russia is protecting Janukovic so there are only ukraine people who want catch him and punish him :-).

Are you talking about Juscenko or Janukovich?

I don't think that Ukrainian people want to catch and punish Juscenko.

'The Muslim community' is outraged when Katy Perry uses the word of their imagined god in a clip. Where is that outrage concerning the killings of children by Boko Haram in Nigeria? Hypocrisy rules the world.

Ukraine crisis: Obama 'concerned' over military moves
39 minutes ago
US President Barack Obama said he was "deeply concerned" by reports of military movements by Russia inside Ukraine.
It comes amid claims that Russian planes have flown hundreds of troops into the region.
Mr Obama added there would be costs for any military intervention in Ukraine.

and does anyone remember?

there is one nice video, how big armor truck (common truck for currency transports) was arrived at airport and was moving to US embassy in Ukraine two or three weeks age (before maidan start)
(sorry, that i dont have link now)
and then you could saw (but not in mainstream) a lot of videos how Ukraine people are saying that everybody would be making protest if they would got several hundreds € for that :-)

but this is maybe speculation, it is easier believe that russian are trying to takeover ukraine while west part of the world want help them to get pure democracy and good life :-D
