poor ukranians

there are in the middle between west and east oligarchs...

charles yanukovich is not a nice guy but i think in the most of countries they will shoot if organized demonstators go to the parliemant etc and first of all in usa...

if organized demonstators go to the parliemant

I don't know the 'if' .... In many countries, which are doing ok (enough), people don't have to attack government buildings, that's a big difference. When people start attacking government buildings, in absolutely most cases the government 'asked' for it by making a big mess of the country.

What I don't understand is police and army killing their own countrymen. I understand they have to follow orders, but there comes a time to ignore orders and start thinking for yourself again, and that's when the order is to kill your own people.

you are saying a different think from my point avoiding the truth...

reasons exists but the fact is that the reaction from the goverments would be the same but in that case they will baptize terrorists etc the attacking people
my point is that there is hypocrisy from both sides and all that matter is the interests of power oligarchs around the world...
In Crimea, only 25% of the population is Ukrainian. A majority is Russian.

Right. And when a woman is raped, in absolutely most cases she 'asked' for it by dressing like a whore.

The thing is, mess or not, governments are voted to make decisions. To accept armed groups to force a government out when they don't like the outcomes is always a dangerous path to tread. That's Pinochet's path, for example.

Rebellions are like nuclear weapons: it's good to have its threat, but it's terrible when you actually have to execute the threat. Regardless of whether you deem it "a necessary outcome" or not. And now Ukraine starts to see that...

lol
you dont want to have a conversation ok...

I can understand these people don't want to join the new USSR of crazy Putin again, they have bin there already and know what is waiting for them.

And if you want to talk about Pinochet you should put it in the right perspective.

I'm not going to discuss things that aren't relevant, like the if's you where talking about. We only know what happened in the Ukraine, so we can discuss that situation but not hypothetical situations.
lol
now you hear that?

If you meant asking where I heard that, look it up.

If you meant asking whether I just found out that fact, I didn't.

If you meant anything else, I don't understand.

I am putting it in the right perspective: there was serious unrest about Allende's policies within a sector of Chilean population. Backed by the US, Pinochet rose in arms in the name of the concerns of those groups. And then we know the rest.
Was Allende's communism the best for Chile? Many would say no. Was he making a mess? Many would say yes. After all, Chile has been the West's example of sensible policies in Latin America ever since Pinochet.

Are you putting Ukraine's situation in the right Perspective?

A few weeks ago, some demonstrators in Kiev were asking for a better, more authentic democracy. Since then, things escalated (openly fueled by foreign governments) and to defeat Yanukovych they have given up democracy altogether in the process. Meanwhile, rich parts of the country are virtually controlled by Russian forces.

It is always a dangerous path...
