Yes.. 16... In 10 days... Now you understand that it's a farce! Referendum with russian military forces...

Slovak TV send there reporter.... our brave reporter was asking question those soldiers without official uniform... he had to be brave cos it seems that somebody can kill him during his asking and talking to that very angry and nervous soldiers without official uniform, they were angry and not polite and told nothing for his camera :-).

But official russian soldiers seems to be very calm and decent in next camera scenes, they dont answer anything to our reporter but was very polite.

And next scenes was made as talks with common people there, the people on Crimea emphasis that there is normal life now, kids are going to school, playing on playgrounds and everything is normal and that just the world media are making that situation bad. Reporter in our TV ask really a lot of people there and it seems that there is normal atmosphere and people really live their normal life.

Sorry, but after I saw this (and it was our TV, not russian, not ukrainian, not US tv, but SLOVAK tv) I suppose that people living on the Crimea really like russian soldiers there and they will really vote for russia in coming referendum, I dont think that people there are "intimidation" / under war pressure.

Yes nobody interopt normal life, they even propose ukrainian military to join russian army! And in this specific situation all this more simes like anexy.
Why now? Not year ago, not erlyer? I know ther russian tv worked well there.. But if there is people that consider themeself russian, why they are living there? Why not go to russia? They expect that in RF they will have a better life! But noone tels fromrpe where! Chip vine? Russians on summer holidays? What will change? Transport comunication, gas, electricity, water (there is no drincable water in Crimea) came from Ukraine. How it will after? After they will join RF Ukraine will cut this comunication. Ports - they work for Ukrainian market. What will be with them after? Crimea is not conected to RF so no tansit of goods true this ports... It will be isolated rock with russoan marine base and that's all...
But if it will be a fair referendum I'm sure that it will be dificult to them to get 51% for RF. But at the end they may decide that even 30% is enough.
P.S. One of my friend from Crimea said that he is happy to join RF! That ihe is russian! I have asked him why he didn't just buy a train ticked and moved to russia.the answer was: but my home is hear!

Yep, a completely ridiculous situation. As if Germany or Belgium crosses the Dutch border with tanks and all and start a referendum in that border area of my country because they think it's part of their country, eventhough the border is clear.

The other Ukrainians, like you, should demand voting right too for this referendum before Russia steals all your oil and gas fields!!

1. if referendum will be below 45-50% and Russian will still occupy it that will be bad. Then EU and USA should apply the biggest sanctions as they can. But the true is that france, italian, UK and other war business with russia is for them much more important than people on Crimea. That is sad true but if referendum will fail I will mark Russia just as stupid occupant.

But I suppose if referendum will fail, they will make new referendum where will be two new questions, higher autonomy in Ukraine or no changes, so country will be still part of Ukraine but maybe with higher autonomy.

2. That about what will be if... I suppose if Crimea or whole east Ukraine will join Russia, west Ukraine will be not place for life. It will collapse very fast.

Belgium will be divided anyway (and without Germany), so bad example :-DDD

Imho EU and USA doesnt give a shit about Ukraine, they just want to raise its price and sell it as expensive as possible. They should stop Russia right here, because this wont end with Crimea.

If referendum fail they do a new one till everithink will hapend like Putin wants! We'll see how it will be held but I'm not sure that EU surveier will be present.

Putin will not stop on Crimea for sure!
