your problem is that you think a lot of nice about west a lot of bad about east :-).
I look on both sides more practically. EU needs resources, USA need world control and east have resources but they are not satisfied with world order :-).
Everybody is evil here but cos I live in EU, I support EU decision and wars cos I need cheep oil and markets for consumption too, but I will never think that EU is doing it for better world or so as you think!

1. Fact number Protesters on Maidan were paid for money. (16 or 30 usd per day).
Who can have resources and motivation paid them ? Ukraine government or poor opposition ?? (west EU maybe, or US, that is same - EU for oil, US for russia reason)
2. Fact two, not government but own people were shooting to home inhabitants (hired for money I suppose), just to start local rebelion which can have the only one result which is get Ukraine away from russia influence. (so who can have such a goal :-) ? )

Please, do not make everything that simple. It isn't. You can say whatever you want, but I'm very critical on both what the EU does and the foreign policy of the Western world.

Most of that websites are not mainstream and not in english languages. Usually it writes people living there or people who have families there (dont forget that we are neighbors of Ukraine) and one sokker friend was there asked this question on the site.
Give me milion dollars and I will set up new world newspaper and then all these information can be posted also in world eng media, so you will believe then :-D.

Finally I agree. I am just angry that EU/USA are always talking about democracy and human rights and we are fighting/making wars too just because we need resources too. We had to call it/name it by true real name, that is all.

No, you base your opinions on controlled media, that is difference. Give me couple of links of not mainstream media, which are not under control and you are reading it and then maybe I change my mind. Give me prove that you form your opinions on various resources and you read a lot of important not mainstream resources (so not just controlled media)

I am very serious, he doesn't want them - he has them, they are under control of like minded ex-KGB people and it is a autonomous region (with "its own" small russian army). The are at least 1800 russians soldiers from the '14th russian army' there, since they have not left after the fall of soviet russia. According to the Istambul treaty in 1999, they were supposed to leave Transnistria by 2003, but the didn't... according to Moldavia's officials the soldiers were given out live amunition, and bullet-proof vests few days ago, "just in case" of course. And all that is 100km, 1,5h drive away from Odessa, where russian ships are... just "in case" to "keep peace" in that region of course.

I my humble opinion Putin "just" wants control over the black sea ports. Donieck and Lugansk, would be a bonus.
