Considering that Schröder gets paid basically by Putin, this statement is not overwhelmingly surprising.
I am paid by Putin too... he sent me 10 000€ every month... :-D
thank god, I was afraid you really thought what you were writing...
;P
;P
The funny is that I belive to what I am writing here, but dont tell it to him, cos I would be then without that money :-(
the fact is that he is telling the truth...
they didnt had a licence from UN to make that attack and to seperate a part of Serbia

The topic is called "NEWS AROUND THE WORLD". Feel free to live in another world, where news are different.
Yes indeed, news topic and not fantasy topic. I'm not the one making up the complete nonsense crap I read in this topic. So if you want to talk about a different world, ask others as they live in that world you are talking about....

kosovo(trying to become independant for 8 years)
Kosovo had no right to independence. There were no country as Kosovo, there were a nation as Kosovars. Country was Serbia, peoples were a Serbs and Albanians.
Territory of Kosovo was stolen. It's the same as if the Turks had stolen Bavaria, Arabs Marseille, some other Rotterdam.

really...so NATO 'took' Kosovo?
just NATO 'took East Germany and gave it to West Germany?
You compare different situations. East Germany just united to West. That's all. Situation Kosovo - Serbia was diametrically other. Kosovo separated from Serbia, unlike to the position of Serbia.

I know the situations are different. EVERY situation is different. So if a country wants to 'unite' ( East Germany to West Germany, Crimea to Russia, it is OK. but if a country want to break away (Kosovo from Serbia) it is NOT ok??

Do you know how many thousands of Serbs died in wars against turkey??? Also some Serbs victories there save the whole europe (by also I mean that whole europe fight against turkey, not only Serbs). Kosovo was under Turkey occupation long time but Serbs get it back. Price was high...a lot of lifes....
So when NATO took that part of Serbia away by bombing Serbia from the air, it is worse than war against Turish people was. NATO is so poor organization, that was not able fight man vs man as Turish people did !

Gerhard Schroeder has admitted that "like the situation in Crimea," the NATO attack on Serbia in 1999 was also a violation of international law.
A really violation of every human value is to watch a genocide happening and do nothing.

I think there is one cardinal difference in the absurd Kosovo / Krim comparison.
In the former Yugoslavia the fall of communism didn't resolve anything, the conflicts there (often religious based) were ongoing from then on, and there was a constant bloodshed in the 90's ... NATO and the US (as the international comunity, steped in to resolve the problem) some agreed some didn't as always. You can argue both sides, but this was a internal conflict resolved from the outside by the international community, right or wrong.
In Crimea/Krim it is completely different, the internal Ukrainian conflict in Maidan didn't create this situation that we are discussing, Russian Military on foreign soil 2 weeks later created that, Russian "unknown separatists" I know ;-) that were only serving "their own" puropse of one country, in normal terms a internationally illegal annexation of a part of a sovereign ukrainian nation to russia (completed by next week), there is no 50-50... who is right who is wrong situation, its only the will and the military invation of one country: Russia with Putin. The international community, apart from some Russia Tuday propaganda is strangely united in this one, even China and Belarus!!! Belarus! quitely mentioned that russia should respect Ukrainian boarders... :-]
And other interesting fact is that Sergej Aksjonov was put in power of krim on 26 or 27 feburary by force, in the last crimean autonomous elections he go 4% of all the votes, Ukrainian and "pro-Russian". :-] Its good to fit in Putin's plans, isn't it.
Suggested results for tommorow, and for the 21st march: the ballot do you want to go back to regulations from 1992 or do you want to join russia! undecided 0% :-D how do you like that ;-) what are the chances? anyone surprised? but this "of course not" rigged referendum under military occupation. LoL, I don't know whats more appropriete laughing or crying... :-]
