These countries were already occupied in past according scenarios which are not that different. If normal Russians realy think about any opossition as corrupted by money from west or neonazists, its stance towards todays baltic countries is very clear.
BTW that 97% support for joining Russia is very dubious result. If it would be around 70% nobody would be suprised but this one is trustable as local militia having BPSs. Why that fraud? Especcially when options were practically 1)Join Russia 2)Join Russia later

I believe this result is correct and not dubious.
Why ? Because this referdum was boycotted by for instance the Tartars(12%) in Crimea and also the Ukraine people itself because of the nature of this referendum.
Edit : So the voters were mostly the pro-russian.

According 83% turnout its not possible that it would be boycotted by Tatars and Ukrainians massively - and when there was realy not option, I doubt that all Russians voted and for joing. Its simply all different from common sense, sorry.
I understand your doubts but it just seems not likely to me that the Russians would fraud with a referendum that was already won before it even began.
Maybe they frauded with the turnout rate :p

I agree. If the turnout was indeed that high, there should have been more votes for restoring the 1992 (?) constitution.

Hitler made economics progress in Germany, that is the fact too I dont argue. But Hitler started WW2, he started persecution of judes and his government, so he himself, killed undirectly milions of people.
I think this is difference. Who is Puting killing now ?
Is he persecuting Tatars or he give him higher benefits as Kiev did ??
Just look on facts and then make comparison and be much more specific.

I am talking about Sudetenland, or Sudety mountains i 1938, not the whole Czechoslovakia.
I was too and I explain it, so I dont understand your comment.

I had to agree that results in % are really weird... it seems little manipulated but it can not change the fact that there is really no doubt that majority are pro russian.
I personally estimate it in 50-70%.
But...tatars didnt vote, they wanted that attendance will drop below 50% (or they just ignored it). In Crimea is every referendum valid just if there is attendance above 50%. So if everybody who didnt like the referendum didnt vote that may explain that high numbers maybe...

Look, mighty_goy: Putin is a nasty guy. So, if Putin says the earth is round, he's wrong. And if you point out that Columbus said the same once, well, one guy is named "Christopher", the other is "Vladimir", one is XV century, the other XXI, so really completely different story, and the earth remains flat until someone nicer says so.
I must say, you are an impressive imitator. Can you do Rumpil too? :-)
I said I was sure that it had not been president of Syria but somebody else. I blamed US cos it was very probably that they did it.
your stated reason at the time is that you read it on worlddailynews.com or some 'news website'. and I bring it back up BECAUSE just that you state something does not make it true.
But US policy for last tens years is so clear that I understand that even some Saudies want abuse US for own purpose. So US are involved too, just not directly.
again, just because you state it does not make it fact.
