Once one said "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch".
I can also translate it in spanish: "No hay tal cosa como un almuerzo gratis".
This sentence was popularized by Milton Friedman in the 70s. Just remember what happened in Chile 1973.
PS: of course I'm not saing you have to keep your socialism and shout up, but just that you have to be very careful.
And of course I really wish the violence could stop immediatly and the people could suffer no longer.

yep, russian "democracy" based on hundreds years of knowlege :D ;)
This is not even close to "democracy", it's a socialist misinterpretation of their own obvious lies.
This was a poor spectacle, not even near a honest democratic referendum, which is now "argued" as a done-deal situation "fact". :-]
Its a bit like coming to stay at someone's house as a guest for one night, only to declare the next day, that its actually your house and not your host's, as you both have been staying there the night before! ..and the so called "equality" is elevated to a absurd level, misunderstand the concept o (mutual) freedom completely.
Of course declaring only to yourself in a sence (or your own supporters only), that it is the moral high ground, that you have the same right to someone else's, house as your own... but forget to mention that it doesn't go both ways. And then celebrating a victory... of course... putin's mentality, good luck with it...

if others steal, does it mean you can, too? for equality! :-D
My point is that, there was nothing democratic about russian gun-men i Crimea, which is the issue at hand, not kosovo, not iraq, not gaddafi, not US politics, not even EU politics, its much simlper case, russia attacking an stealing a bit of Ukraine - in daylight - which doesn't make it any better, if anything... it makes it much worse... and more cynical, to the bystanders.

Doesn't matter if it was democratic or not, it wasn't a Ukraine referendum but a Russian referendum in Ukraine so the outcome is totally meaningless. It's time countries start sending in their army to kick out the invaders instead of sending useless observers.
exactly, and unfortunately.
:-( celebration.. :-]
Interesting: Fascism is therefore not seen in terms of its anti-Semitic and anti-democratic dimensions, but as an anti-Russian phenomenon springing from Western Europe.
Consequently, the Russian media frequently use the label “fascist” for anyone hostile to Russia, the Russian language, Russian people, Russian speakers, or the interests of the Russian state. It is a synonym for the recent coinage “Russophobia”, echoing the term Islamophobia; it is evidently open to abuse, and allows for the silencing of any criticism of Russia.

And the referendum in Catalonia will not be a Spanish referendum either.
(I'm not saying that the referendum in Crimea was neutral and fair. Not at all. But a referendum in all of Ukraine makes no sense at all.)

Russophobia, that's a good one :P I can do that to, Naziphobia, dictatorphobia ;)
