I just think that your leaders, or that people on maidan should realize much more reality. Math is math, facts are facts, Russia can be angery cos losing influence, but Crimea is now Russian. EU can be angry cos lose against russia but they will have your country via loans and conditions....

Nothing improves in a second. It was a first step.
Ukraine has been in economic/financial degradation/stagnation for years, partly due to thievery, corrupted politicans and pro-Russian politicans.
It will take time to improve their living conditions and situations, but if everything stayed as it was nothing would change.
And how exactly did Ukraine piss off Russia...? By doing what?

Tymosenkova was second biggest thief and she was pro EU.... thiefs are thiefs, everywhere, it was problem of Ukrainian people, it was not about Russia vs EU. EU and EU fonds... we know it very well too ;-)

But when they will get this, most of resources, places and other strategical areas will not belong to Ukrainian people any more, but it will belong to foreing corporations. (as in Slovakia :-) )

They wanted join EU :-D, ok they refused later but this refuse was start of maidan and so...people didnt appreciated what they were getting from Russia. It was mistake of current government that they were not able fix that pro EU protests fast..... and after situation seems to be pro EU too much, Putin started making his own interest to protect "russian part of Ukraine" (and of cos he could easily get something valuable :-D )
If Ukrainian government didnt allow to spread such rebelions (financed and organized by west) everything had to be ok.
If Ukrainian people has so different opinions on Russia or EU, they should make state referendum with two question.
- Do you want be pro russian even if we need divide ukraine ? yes/no
- Do you want to be pro EU even if we need divide Ukraine ? yes/no
if there will be maybe 50/50 rate of votes for first or for second question, result would be clear.
But they didnt did it and minor parties started to make by illegal steps whole Ukraine pro EU, no matter what the east want.
(ok that two question could be better, but I am sure you got the point)
