Every text can be interpreted differently,
I like this :-)... if somebody wants yes he can..that is all what I will say to this point :-)
(but text is always same, also meaning, just that "interpreting"... :-D )
But why don't you show me where this has happened? ............
there are such a tendencies and are maybe serious... but yes, nobody is supplying official till this day..(maybe, i dont know). but I was talking mainly about that "plan".. too bad !
western media
There is maybe one mistake from my side.... because I am sure that in western countries are also different media (as that mainstream), but due to my poor english and no german I can not find them so I am comparing just main west media on one side with various media from foreign countries (and most of them are just slovak or czech which are translating).
If I compare main slovak media with main f.ex. main german media.. they are same, really... very same :-). But I am reading mostly "non-mainstream" media in my country also, where are links to another "non-mainstream" media in different countries but I am not able find such a media in west countries, but I am sure, you must have them too...
("non-mainstream" = not that media, which are mainstream...)
so this is not about western and eastern media maybe, but it is about mainstream media and others (maybe there are much non-mainstream media in eastern countries, due to their history and so.. people there like information not from mainstream media more there ...)

Summary of this... I hate power... in common life, man with strong arms and hands and stupid head and so :-) ...people who just beat you / hurt you if they dont have arguments or see that they are losing in discussion :-) .... but this what is EU and US doing is same. Somebody think that he has truth and he have no problem to "prove this" with power... very stupid very emabarrasing, very animal behaving .... but the biggest problem is that this is "playing with fire" which means that this will not have end like "game over, start again"... this can have very very ugly end like WW :-(((
But people like heros and fighting, two WW teach nothing human race :-(
We can not establish stupid democracy to region where it will never work !!! neither with power.

look where you are, with democracy... leaders are lying and the main goal is to persuade major group of people, which is group of people who dont know anything about economy, real world or dont know any relations in politics...
in democracy will win that leader who will promise the most, mainly for that people who has the lowest contribution for society.. this is democracy...

In political matters, EU countries should conduct their own sovereign policy, independent of Brussels.

I do read mainstream media most of the time, certainly when I read Flemmish media. However, in the newspaper we have at home, there are opinions written down by both conservatives, progressives, socialists, liberals, Flemmish nationalists, Walloon people, ... So it has a lot of variety of opinions, which makes it very interesting.

Like people are only lying in democracies ... The perfect democracy isn't realizable. And as said before, democracy is far from perfect, but it is also by far the best known system.
If the people are smart, those leaders won't be reelected. That's indeed a problem, as most of the people aren't ... let's say that clever ;-)

I don't want the Middle-East to be pissed. And yes, there are risks, but they are less severe imo than doing nothing. And we don't let them kill each other - this wouldn't happen btw, Khadaffi would have crushed the rebelions - because we're not inhumane, and therefore, we should care about the lives of the Libyan citizens. And indeed there wouldn't be a war, because as I said before, Khadaffi would have crushed his opponents. Literally.

I share your opinion.... but I am able image also EU as head of national politics (just head of MoFA, not individual economy policy and so..), but this is just dream there are too much states in EU now, too much various opinions (not so similar US states as they are USA).
But as VvK said..where is president of EU now :-) ?? Nowhere, just Szakozy is "big man" now :-(
