In terms you might understand, its a bit like chopping off Turin, and Milan (Industrial cities) by a Swiss of French army, and blocking all trade with Brescia (if I am not mistaken where you are from) having military exercises in Bergamo and Piacenza - threatening a invasion even further, declaring that the italians there acctually prefer (by 97%) to be in swiss-italian or franco-italian cantons called: savoie-piedomente part of the centralized Paris government, not part of Italy or italian lombardia anymore... bye bye, ...and leaving you... to be happy about it. :-) with a 70% rise on your gas bill, and no imports or exports from the main partner and a major cental 'power' in your region.

Just to point this: we're already paying the gas full market price. And anyway, It's a dream, but let's "keep the feet on the grownd", becouse unfortunately I don't think my region will leave Italy :'(

as Russia is not going to attack any NATO country for the same reason

Nukes would bring it to the next level, but the Cold War scenario is already back after the Ukraine invasion and the large ammount of Russian soldiers gathered along the border, ready to invade even more land to continue the russianization.

BTW 1st time listening about this "memorandum" and honestly, if is some international accord, do you know how many of this international treatys are broken daily by countries signing them? like the kyoto one about the CO2 to the atmosphere or many other ones
