Honestly, I don't know... maybe someone knows better than me...

Lol guys... look at this...

U.S. says 'disappointed' by Palestinian unity deal

"Divide et impera", Romans used to say...

It would be funny if it wouldn't be sad.... :(

Israel already stoped talks with Palestinians because same reason.

diamanti you seem to lack basic knowledge and history of the conflict. As you post and view seem to be incredibly banal. of course it is disappointing when a peacful PLO unify with a radical and aggressive if not a terrorist Hamas. :-] Diplomacy will be more difficult, it's true and it is the first sentence! and you seem to miss it. Peace will be more difficult.

go for peace!! yeaaay.. :-[

You can say it will be more difficult to deal with PLO, or that it will be easier to deal with Hamas. Who rules Palestinian territories now? Who wins if "peaceful PLO" stays out?

Also, it doesn't help to make an argument clear if you mix the potential strategic (dis)advantage of having PLO and Hamas uniting or not, with propaganda about whether a Palestinian state makes sense or not. The 2 things are different discussions. You may find the union is bad for peace, or bad for a Palestinian state, or whatever combination...

@rys, adding the picture of "palestinian land lost" only proves my point, lack of understanding the conflict betwen arabs and jews, not between palestinians and izraelis, and the poster above answers that.

Palestine-Mandate-Ensign-1920-1948

basic.

Peacekeeping forces holding arab nations from attacks on israel, not vice-versa.

As for peace talks, PLO without hamas "support" is/was more effective and more true to an non-violent resolution.

I'm missing a lot of info in your post, for example a good explanation of problems that happened because the English gave up the control, what zionists did to make that happen, and the 'buying' of Palestinian ground by zionists to get more control over the land and force people away, etc etc.

But specially the current situation, like the situation of the apartheid wall, the illegal settlements, etc: B'Tselem - The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories

Most wars are stopped in a couple of years, specially when the main countries get involved and demand a sollution, but unfortunatly this war is going on for 60+ years now. So yep, and it won't even be the last time ....

Today is May Day, in a lot of countries known as Labour Day (although ironically, the labour performed that day is very low). Instead of celebrating the 'achievements' of communism, socialism and collectivism, we should commemorate its physical and moral victims. An ideology with an unmatched track record.
There are many MayDay calls today ;-)

I also always laughed about this day which is the most no work day in the year :-)

It is maybe little long, but very informative and totally different what guys from the west think about reality :-)

Russian (still soviet to be exact) bullshit in its purest form.

"disgraceful era which begun in 1989.. " lol. Moscovite history since Catherine "the great" is a disgraceful era, along with Lenin, Stalin... expansive and deceitful to say the least from the start till' 1989... and unfortunately we are back to those russian politics now again...

"We started to re-take our territory, little by little" Jihad has the same slogan "re-take our" lol, territory, by which London and Paris soon will also be muslim territory to be "re-taken, little by little" not (wink, wink) by violence of course.. in the name of "peace and god" of course.

"israel interests, mossad in ukraine, banderite-american coup in kiev, ukrainian business clans, western inteligence british mi6, CIA... Rothchilds, Rockefellers... Obama clans, jewish roots... russofobic slavs.. (my favorite) and never forget! to mention NATO in yougslavia" -problems in ukraine... :-D of course.. talking about crimea! lol... what else could the problems be? hmmm... maybe green marsians..? who knows...?, or maybe ukraians themselves, and not a single word about masked russian military violating a border of a sovereign Ukraine, stealing land and Ukrainian ships, army that Putin didn't know how they were?!? :-o until it suited him, and siad that actually they were russian, but now crimea is russia, bye bye.

If you believe these words rumpil, you are an idiot, full stop.
