It is little different but generally you are right. Because there is very few people who know as I know that west is not a angel but more as a aggressor (no matter if USA or EU) I have to hold my opinion and spread it cos I dont want let others people here be manipulated by other guys here :-)

- it is good weapon when there is dominance of west supporters

1. Ukrainians "heads/men in power" (so not simple people) are not able mine any gas, they are not tech country and they are not able to do anything good for its country, just cheat.
2. Stories about rich shale-gas deposits start after conflicted and I suppose it is just will of the west show to the world that not only west can act aggressive cos resources. But this is just picture of the west, very little people can belive to this new story.
3. There is very big interests of USA and EU companies mine that shale-gas, cos it will extremely hurt nature for long and long decades so EU can not afford it make at home and USA can do it at home cos USA is very large country but foreign resources are always better. This, about USA interest told to me one of you guys, so it is not my idea. But it is funny that one day somebody says that USA want mine it and next days we are talking that Russia want mine it :-D. I agree with you. West start this conflicted (second time) so you can not blame Russia that want protect russian people and make it secure. Ukrainians should solved theirs problem on their own, but when west starting to do it they made just new conflict there :-(

I did it few post earlier.
1. The world should stop USA in its aggressive war policy. There are no sanctions when USA attack anybody without UNO acceptations. USA can make phone-tapping of all EU leaders and noone says strong Enough!. This is first what had to be changed! Sanctions on every aggressors.
2. West want hold it luxury life and dont care that EU is not the only one area on the world. Most of west countries will do anything to get new resources, markets and so. West should realize that living without war and by power is harder, but much more human.
3. EU dont have a lot of resources, so I will support such a wars for resources too (but I am shame of this), cos I need cheap oil too, but I suppose EU should make bigger research on new energy resources or technologies for savings energy.
If this is made, no Ukraine conflict will be here, no Lybia conflict will be here and I believe that there would not be Yugoslavia problem too.

- Russia unilaterally suspended the agreement with Lithuania , providing for providing information on the armed forces in the Kaliningrad region - said the Lithuanian Ministry of Defence . BNS agency reported that the Ministry of Defence of Lithuania received from the Russian government a diplomatic note stating that Russia unilaterally suspended the Lithuanian- Russian agreement of 2001 on additional confidence-building measures and security.
Ministry of Defence in Vilnius pointed out that the agreement provided for the inspection of military and exchange of information about the armed forces, and that the Russian side it applies to the troops in Kaliningrad.
In a statement, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense stressed that Lithuania fulfills all the obligations resulting from the agreement with Russia and did not give Moscow a pretext for such action - Such a move shows the reluctance of Russia to ensure mutual trust and may be considered for further action to destroy mutual trust and security system in Europe - the ministry said in a statement.

If Russia attacks Ukraine, they will do it in April or the first half of May - says well-known Russian military analyst Paul Felgenhauer. On the pages of "Foreign Policy" he argues that the "window of opportunity" for the invasion opens with the beginning of spring with the enrolment to the Russian army (April 1), and closes just before the presidential elections in Ukraine (May 25). Time is working against Russia, which has important reasons which can lead them to go to war, even at the cost of deepening of the conflict with the West.

Turchynov also added: "In fact, war is being waged against us. And we must be prepared to repel this aggression."

May 3, 2014-Yulia Tymoshenko wants to attack old men who saved Ukraine against Nazism. She wants to attack them during their annual celebration of Victory in Europe Day. This scandalous video featuring the ex- premier appeared on the internet. Ukrainian presidential candidate came to visit Odessa and met with local officials.
On the record with these negotiations clearly audible as Tymoshenko instructs representatives of local authorities to organize a provocation against the veterans of the Great Patriotic War Victory Day - May 9.
"On the victory day in Ukraine ... to excite Odessa, you need to attack veterans ," - she said.
Meeting is held clearly in "closed" format. How is it that the video hit the internet is not reported.

I dont know why west and US have to support mad and ill men. Al qaeda - grow up by Americans, Lybia rebels were supported by both, US and EU and now they are support right sector in ukraine, cos Ukrainian army will not fight against own people and will not fight against russia, right sector yes, if west will supply him.
