But do we really need to talk about this bulshit, when we're in the middle of a pogrom???

In Crimea 83,1% of the people "voted", 96,77% "voted" to join Russia. It almost reminds me of the Soviet-era elections.
1) There are about 12% of Tatars, who said they boycott the referendum. But some Tatars said, they didn't even get the invitations for the referendum anyway. And there are about 25% Ukrainians and 6% others. Sorry, I won't believe that nearly all the Ukrainians voted to join Russia, that's bs.
2) There were no OSCE or UN observers on the elections, instead Russians has managed to recruit observers mostly from European far-rightist and neo-Nazi parties. From Hungary, Jobbik (far-rightist) EU-parliament member Béla Kovács went. Jobbik massively supports Russian interests in Hungary for some reason.
It's so disgusting, that Russian media keeps demonizing Kiev, by claiming they are all Nazis (there are far rightists, but most of them are not). And in the meantime they try to legitimize their fake referendums with the help of Nazis from all around Europe.
So I think that concerns about this referendum are absolutely valid, they have cheated before, and they'll cheat now.

Big fail of red cross, I do not send them neither one euro !
Absolute valid? No. But as good as current conditions allowed it. Look, if Crimea was not joining to russia, now there would be tens or hundreds dead cos nacist right sector aggression and murdering of political pro russians opponents supported by ukrainian coup government. But they did it and now they have peace and are secure. So what is better for people ?
ok, west lose that battle, but simple people won and this is the only one what should be imported !

So you believe that nearly all of the Ukrainians voted to join Russia, right?
majority on the Crimea, without doubt, I dont care if the rest of Ukraine wanted it too, this is irrelevant for me
If not nearly all of the Ukrainians voted to join Russia, then it means the referendum was fake. There's only about 58% Russian living there.
why do you think that just russians vote for russia :-) ?
Where did I write that only Russians vote for Russia?
You try to bend what I wrote, because you don't dare to answer the question: :D
Do you really believe that nearly all Ukrainians vote for joining Russia? Almost none of them vote for Ukraine?

No, I know that referendum was not so good as referendum in Slovakia is and there is maybe little problem with counting... but I dont agree that whole referendum was fake and doesn't express major opinion of people.
And also questions were not good, but the fact that this shows us opinion of majority on the crym is clear. Who wanted to vote, voted for russia. A lot of people didnt vote...ok, their will.
There are no benefits which can got or can get from the Kiev....so I really dont see reason why would somebody there vote for Kiev. And L suppose that a lot of people rather didnt vote at all, so the results are not nice :-)

Impossible! The results show, 83% of the people participated, that's a very high number. If a lot of people didn't vote in reality, that means the results were faked. We don't know by what amount of votes were they faked, maybe pro-Russians would win anyway, maybe they wouldn't. A faked referendum doesn't express anything. In the Soviet Union Communist party got about 80% of the votes in the '89 elections (earlier it was always around 99,8%). Two years later they got only 17% on the real elections.

Maybe because many people are Ukrainians and that's their home country? That would be where they could keep their nationality. Russia forces Russian citizenship on them. If you live in Crimea and you don't do anything, you'll become a Russian citizen. If you don't want that, you'll have to go. You can get back to Crimea as an immigrant and participate in a very lenghty and humiliating procedure until you get a permanent permission to stay in the RF.

Why do they do that? I think they're afraid, that much less people would apply for citizenship than 97%.
