25% is Ukrainian, and 12% is Tatar. Tatars were deported by Russians, and they could go back home only in 1990. So they really don't like Russia. That's 37%. Why would they all vote for Russia? Russia is totally not their home country. :)

number and reality...what to say more.... go there and ask yourself random people on crimea
2014-05-11 18:27:40
Come on! This argument is so weak! It seems you have ran out of ideas on this topic.

But I would be glad to see your opinion about my other question I asked:

If people love Russia so much in Crimea, why do Russians have to force their citizenship on them?
2014-05-11 18:38:31
Tatars were deported by Russians, and they could go back home only in 1990. So they really don't like Russia.

You know the same thing happened to a small comunity of italians now living in Kerch, Crimea. They're about 500 people now. And they openly said they voted to join Russia.
2014-05-11 19:22:18
In a video I've seen, Tatars said they kept what their leaders asked and they didn't vote. One of them said he would vote for Ukraine, but he didn't received his voting card, so he couldn't go. The leader of the voting comitee in the Tatar neighborhood admitted there were only a very few voters indeed (there were Slavs too in that district).

One of them said he would vote for Ukraine, but he didn't received his voting card, so he couldn't go.

Which one it was :-) ? ok... we can recalculate the results cos this one guy :-D

You mean Vice News???
Take a look at this (certainly more recent)

Even this biased media can't denie the evidence of whats happening now in Ukraine: a "pogrom".
2014-05-11 19:56:27
I like that words there...
"vypijem za rodinu, vypijem za Stalina"
- dring for family, dring for stalin
:-D
2014-05-11 19:59:44
and I like simple people talking there....." yes, I am terrorist, look at me" :-)

this says a lot about western biased media, that people really want freedom, independence and like russia and hate Kiev and dont like the west but they are not terrorist as western media says about them. They will fight for their future.... it is nice and dont know why you dont like it... (ok I know, cos west is against it and russia is helping them..... but it is about the people and not resources or so...)
2014-05-11 21:50:06
Yes, Vice News. I know they're somewhat biased, but certainly not as biased as the Russian media keep posting here. When Vice News shows Svoboda members they usually forget to mention what's their program, and why don't Russians like them. So yes, it's biased, like every media is, but certainly not as biased as the Russian media you keep posting.

In the Russian media the whole Maidan movement is shown as Nazi, every Kiev protester is terrorist scum. The non-Russian agencies I watched have didn't try to show all the pro-Russians as terrorist, they are refered to as separatists most of the time (which is true - they want to separate from Ukraine).

So which side is more biased?
2014-05-11 21:58:30
sokker is the most objective, not doubt, no cenzorship :-DD

Btw, what happens in Ukraine is called a civil war, or at least something that we'll soon be able to call civil war. In a pogrom usually only one side has guns, the other is defensless and only they have casaulties.

In this case there are casaulties on both sides. There are a lot of civilians hanging around in the pro-Russian side (actually it was the same at Maidan too). But there are heavily armed men too. I've heard there are at least 3 Ukrainian helicopters shot down by now. Separatists installed anti-tank missiles around Slavyansk. And how were those APCs got captured in the video? They don't seem to be defensless.

And there are civilian victims on the other side too. Look at this:

Of course Russian media will deny all this. That's why you think it's a pogrom.

So yes, it's biased, like every media is, but certainly not as biased as the Russian media you keep posting.

Would you please tell me when I posted "russian media"?
Maybe I did one or two times, but always declearing it was from Russia...

When an "horde" composed by nazis/hooligans storm and kills over 100 un-armed people, burning only their heads with some plastic bags, including some kids and a pregnant woman.......
This is a pogrom.
