But...how? I mean, if things go wrong in Italy, you have an extra anti-air-missile under your bed?

That's not the point.
First... how?... I don't know. I destroyed so many heli playing GTA, but I don't really know how it works in real life.
The point is that ok, we can assume russian supplyed missiles... Since now, we only know for sure americans are supplying weapons to rebels in Siria.

Since now, we only know for sure ukrainian national guard killed cold blod many citizens, shoot ambulances, used UN helis...
So, could we really blame Russia if (and I mean if) they're somehow supporting secessionists in eastern Ukraine?

I dont know either, but i suppose you cant bring a helicopter down by throwing some rocks. So i also assume that Russia supplied them weapons. Can we blame Russia? Of course. This whole thing is fueled by them, they need this civil war in the east as a motive to invade and "protect".

If Russia want to invade Ukraine, they'd do it the day Yanukovich escaped or the day after Odessa massacre.

I agree.
They surely give weapon and money to their part.

On the reverse USA and Germany needed the "orange revolution" and the paid actual Ukraine gov to steal that country from putin sphere of influence.
Now they are financing those military.

I think taking a side in this (civil) war is just stupid.
Better to ask what solution you find REALISTIC and good for the people.

Just to remind you, as it seems you have already forgot, Russia already did:

Answers?

Russia should respect all borders of Ukraine, as they have promised, just as Ukraine gave up their nukes in return, as they have promised.
2014-06-03 13:26:37
you miss the "realistic" part.

answers?
2014-06-03 14:03:19
No, you most probably miss the 'you must agree with my answer' part.
2014-06-03 14:24:17
so you think is realistic to believe that putin will simply do what you ask for..?
really?

and that russian stability doesn't get harmed by this?
and that russians in ukraine will simply accept it?
and that doing this USA and UE won't continue this invasion war in other Russian colonies?

wake up.
2014-06-03 16:16:21
why you see borders and do you not see russians from crimea ? obvious you have a direction

Nonsense. You just need a car and Bruce Willis :P
2014-06-03 18:37:06

Well, if there are fully armed rebels there, who shot down several helicopters by now, then isn't it possible, that the Ukrainian army is after them, and not the civilians?

What I see, is Ukrainian government couldn't do anything for months. In the meantime the Russian supplied rebels have captured Eastern-Ukraine, put out Ukrainian laws there, faked a referendum, and estabilished a miniature dictatorship - yesterday another journalist was kidnapped by the peaceful civilians. Luckily he was released after a few hours, he was just intimidated.

Now Ukraine is supposed to enforce it's laws, so after several months they started a military action. Police is obviously under-equipped by now, usually they aren't meant to battle against heavy weaponry. So now their obsolete army killed civilians too, and as a true post-Soviet reaction they immediately denied even the fact of the bombardements. This shows, that there's no good side in this war (as usual), but Russia and it's puppets are definitely not the less worse.

Syria? Yes, America supplies the rebels with some second-hand AKs and RPGs. On the other side Russia supplies Assad with armored vehicles, drones and guided bombs. Is that ok for you? Assad has killed 10000s of civilians. Is it ok when Assad kills civilians? Because he kills a lot more than the Ukrainian government and the pro-Russian rebels together.

And there's another big difference: the Syrian conflict was started by the people of Syria influenced by the Arab spring, and after decades of terror from the Assad regime. USA didn't even know what to react in the first weeks. This Ukrainian conflict was started by Russia invading Crimea, using the removal of Yanukovich as a casus belli and as an opportunity, that the Ukrainian government was temporarily even weaker then usually.

So now I'm curious. Do you think, that the pro-Russian rebellion is righteous? Do you think the Syrian rebellion is not righteous?
