The national governor of the Donetsk region, Pavel Gubarev, admitted that while the separatists indeed are in possession of one BUK missile unit, it is not operational, and even if it was, it would be unable to reach a height of over 30,000 feet without central radar guidance which the Donetsk region does not have, once again suggesting that a Surface to Air Missile, if indeed one was used, came from the Ukraine side. Surely it will be very easy for international monitors to validate this report.

In these kind of situations the very first victim is the truth. Both sides are not interested in the truth. They are interested how they can use this against eachother.
So this need to be researched. Not by Russia or EU or USA but by an independant international research team. Until that has happend we can only speculate. Its seems very clear who is fault here. But this would not be the first time we think we know something and at the end we got it al wrong.

Read the BS of gabberattack and you know Russia and the terrorists are trying all they can to confuse people, but they are to late. Items are deleted from websites but they have been seen and copied by many people, like the comment of 'proudly shot down a 'militairy' airplane, and the warning / consequence when a plane crosses pro-russian terrorist air space, etc. The only thing they can do now is come with redicoules eye witnesses, strange reasoning over fight plans, a pre-planned action, a failed attempt to shoot some Russian plane, etc etc. All pro-Russian crap which only an idiot would believe.

It is from Spanish tv, the air traffic controller in Kiev has been deported from Ukraine and receives death threats if he speaks again about what he saw on the radar from what I understand

Then he goes on to tell that he's been working for 5 years in Ukraine, and he just expresses his views on what he sees (in a blog, or tweeter, the TV station seems confused about it all as they show tweets while subtitles say "Spanish blogger").
He reports receiving several death threats from radical Maidan groups since the start of the protests, until some foreign diplomats told him to get his family out of the country in 24 hours as they have been located by said groups.
Then he's asked about his views, and he says reconciling the sides will be impossible as there is too much hate between the sides, and too much hate in Kiev in particular. He says there is a "lost generation" who finds it tough to find a job, doesn't have much to do, and basically this conflict is the only thing they can spend their time on, the only thing that matters anymore.
They mention him working as an "air observer" (¿? Do they mean air controller?), so could be the guy gabberattack posted before about, but they never asked him about that in this interview (I haven't checked when is it from actually :P).
