They have the tools and instruments to do this

You must understand, that you can not change thousands of years of their mentality by some state tool... it is like that you want give democracy to states like Libya or Iraq :-)
It is just not possible.....
If they do it wrong, blame them and vote the other 1 next time.

That's quite hard. I can only vote for one party, as the other 6 main parties have fundamental different points of view. I never vote progressive or socialist, never vote racist and only vote Flemish nationalistic. Then I have exactly 1 party left ;-)

here you can see, how the EU fonds for gypsies are used, it is a greatest gypsies ghetto in Slovakia:

devastated buildings were build in 80´s and they got them totally new...lower buildings in a middle are built from EU funds (school, kindergarden and social office and some other offices)

other new buildings on far side are new flats for those which devastated their older flats and haven´t place to live...

Tell me please, who will give me a new flat??? I am working man, integrated to the society, but I am discriminated by my government and EU because I am not acting like an animal and I am not a gypsy? quite crazy...

You don't want to, that's something different ;) But if you are sure your tax-money is spend so badly by the party you voted, you don't have another choice to vote different next time I think :)

(Belgium isn't really a great political example ;P)

How many gypsies are there, compared to Slovak people?

Maybe they shouldn't have put these people all together in apartments, knowing these apartment area's are often problem-area's in cities, specially if you let them live all together so close. I can say this, but in the Netherlands we also have the same problem, large apartment area's at the edge of cities with low class = lots of problems. That's not some problem in your country but all around the world.

And if you want a new apartment, your government should build more housing. The EU pays for certain projects, the other things you pay taxes for and that money has to be spend wisely by your government so you also have a good home.

but this is way how socialists architecture was planned in Eastern European...almost 70% of citizens in Slovak cities live like that...this is a part of city where I had been living until last year:

can you see a difference? no problem, really not extreme crimes and different levels of society live together...

I know what you mean, this is 1 of the 4 apartment area's in Utrecht, my city. And this normal for the larger cities in my country. It won't be 70%, but a lot of people in Utrecht lives in apartments :)

But we have a bigger segmentation in the sense that we also have many suburbs and things like that. If there is no choice but to live in apartment that is different.

No. If you want a new apartment, you should work and earn money to buy or rent a new apartment. Why should the government provide everyone of new housing? Try to live your own life, don't live on the costs of the others.
Can you please use the resize-option? You're messing with the forum ;-)

Edit: thank you, now Vset... (sorry, can't remember your name :p) can you do this to? ;-)

Ofcourse you have to work and pay rent, but if he works and have the money for rent, but no good housing, that's a lack of housing and that is a government problem. Or he should build his own house, but most people won't do that, at least not the people on this forum I think :P

No, it's a private matter imo. If there is need and money for new housing, private companies will build new apartments. Why should the government do that? Here's the difference between your socialist thinking and my liberal thinking ;-)

Liberal thinking and a socialist government won't go together. If the government doesn't give any permits, or doesn't give out a new land for housing, that is a problem. Also, the real estate market is a bit slow, since it takes time before the permits are there and the houses have been built.

True, but only if you have money, and waited 5+ years, then you have the change to move from a (student)apartment to a house (in Utrecht this is, maybe it will be a bit different outside the center of the Netherlands).
